                Foundation and description          We partner people in different organizations and different industries so that
                                                    through shared learning and partnership networking they can rapidly
                                                    improve. As a dynamic firm with global reach we facilitate think tanks,
                                                    sharing of best practices and ideas leadership through networking and
                                                    benchmarking to help organizations to accelerate improvements. Our
                                                    networks include over 5,000 people across Australia, Asia, NZ and also
                                                    extend into other continents internationally. These networks include
                                                    partnerships with the Singapore Productivity Association (SPA), the (APO),
                                                    Asian Productivity Organization (designated benchmarking experts to
                                                    support 20 Asian countries), NZ Business Excellence Foundation (NZBEF),
                                                    Thailand Productivity Institute (FTPI) and the American Productivity and
                                                    Quality Center (APQC). The networks also include partnerships with high
                                                    value topic experts for processes like Measurement, Innovation, Project
                                                    Management, Knowledge Management, Strategy Deployment, Leadership,
                                                    People Management, Customer and Marketing, Strategic Planning, Supply
                                                    Chain etc. We commenced as sole Benchmarking delivery partners for the
                                                    Australian Quality Council (AQC), a not-for-profit organization recognised by
                                                    the Commonwealth of Australia as the peak body to facilitate business

                Foundation and description               The National Quality Institute (NQI) is an independent, not-for-profit
                                                         organization, committed to advancing organizational excellence in Canada.
                                                         Founded in 1992 by Industry Canada, the vision was to create a uniquely
                                                         Canadian model for excellence: one that would enable Canadian
                                                         organizations to adopt a quality framework and a healthy workplace. NQI
                                                         produces organizational leaders with strategic business frameworks,
                                                         services and tools that support ongoing performance improvement in quality
                                                         and healthy workplace environments, using NQI's innovative Roadmap to
                                                         Excellence. The Roadmap guides Canadian organizations through
                                                         leadership participation, base-line reviews, related training and

                 Foundation and description             Since the establishment of the Information Centre Benchmarking at
                                                        Fraunhofer IPK (ICB) in 1994 as the first Benchmarking Centre in Germany
                                                        and the foundation of the Global Benchmarking Network with the ICB as a
                                                        founding member in 1995, a high number of projects, supported or initiated
                                                        by the ICB reflects the rising interest in benchmarking in Germany.
                                                        Benchmarking at ICB is especially popular as it can be applied to various
                                                        different ends, e.g. optimisation of business processes, support in matters
                                                        regarding the corporate strategic orientation. The business process oriented
                                                        benchmarking method of the ICB was applied in different fields and in a
                                                        large amount of projects.

                Foundation and description              The India Benchmarking Centre is a joint effort between IQL ( Institute of
                                                        Qulity Limited) and Dr. Robert C. Camp. IQL has been working with clients
                                                        in India since 1994. These include successful manufacturing and service

                Foundation and description          The Benchmarking Club, was founded in 1994 by Business International
                                                    (market leader for conferences & training) and a group of multinational Co,
                                                    like IBM, Texas Instruments, American Express, Philips, who needed a
                                                    protected environment to do benchmarking. Today The Benchmarking Club
                                                    is a member-based organization that enrolls more than 100 companies that
                                                    share practices, policies, indicators etc, and performs over 15

                                                    Thanks to the sinergy with BusinessInternational, members pay an annual

                Foundation and description             Established in 1995, became the largest consulting company in the region,
                                                       employing 200 professionals, having 3 representative offices in Chisinau
                                                       and 6 regional offices. ARIA is a non-governmental, non-for-profit, legally
                                                       independent entity, established by the Government of the Republic of
                                                       Moldova and the World Bank to implement the Enterprise Assistance
                                                       Program, a component of the World Bank Private Sector Development
                                                       Project (PSDP). Since January 2006 - under reorganization into joint state

                Foundation and description             The Centre for Organisational Excellence Research (COER) was founded in
                                                       2000 by Dr Robin Mann. In a short-time it has become recognised
                                                       worldwide as an authority on benchmarking and business excellence. It has
                                                       a sizeable research team of PhD researchers and lecturers (through
                                                       Massey University) and undertakes consultancy projects throughout the
                                                       world. Its specialty is in advising countries on their national programmes for
                                                       engaging organisations in benchmarking and business excellence. COER
                                                       facilitates a number of major benchmarking programmes that encourage
                                                       organisations to benchmark in NZ and internationally. It also manages the

                                                       In 2005, COER was commissioned to review and update the Australian
                                                       Business Excellence Framework on behalf of the custodians of the model
                                                       (SAI Global). This project had the involvement of 16 countries and was
                                                       endorsed by the Global Excellence Model Council. It was a unique project in
                                                       that it not only looked at the design of the framework but also how best to
                                                       deploy it on a national basis. Findings from this particular project can be
                                                       used by countries around the world on how best to develop an effective
                                                       programme for excellence.

                Foundation and description             The TECTEM is the professional services department of the Institute for
                                                       Technology Management at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. The
                                                       Institute for Technology Management is one of the University's largest
                                                       research organizations. It focuses on applied research. More than 75% of
                                                       the Institute's revenues stem from industry projects. All research projects

                Foundation and description             In Taiwan economy and its process of industrial development and
                                                       transformation, China Productivity Center (CPC) has been the trailblazer
                                                       and pioneer of thinking model and management model as well. In addition,
                                                       CPC has faithfully and successfully played the role of a bridge and assistant

                Target Market                          CPC has since 2001 initated a series of continuous innovations and
                                                       changes at full speed. We at CPC have marked the year 2001 the first year

                  Foundation and description            The intention to create the Public Sector Benchmarking Service (PSBS) was
                                                        formally announced by the then Minister of State for the Cabinet Office, Ian
                                                        McCartney on 3 February 2000. The Service was officially launched by
                                                        Dawn Primarolo , the then Paymaster General, on 24 February 2001. The
                                                        announcement of the Service was strongly suggested by the Prime Minister,
                                                        the Right Honourable Tony Blair MP, and Neil Kinnock, Vice President of
                                                        the European Commission.The Service manages knowledge on good
                                                        practice and benchmarking in the public sector. The Service has in excess
                                                        of 5,000 members representing over 2000 public sector organisations.



                  Vision                                The Vision of the PSBS is to be the central focal point in the UK public
                                                        sector managing knowledge in relation to benchmarking and good practice.
                                                        It already acts as the UK focal point for a European Public Sector
                                                        Benchmarking Network and is developing a World Wide Public Sector
                                                        Network.
                  Mission                               The PSBS aims to support those involved with improving performance and
                                                        reforming public services; encourage the exchange of information and
                                                        knowledge in the public sector; and improve the availability of information
                                                        on good practice and benchmarking.
