          DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
          The Finance Division is one of the most unique areas of the bank to begin one’s career as an Executive Associate. The division is
          critical in defining the bank’s overall strategy, measuring the performance of its various business lines, and determining the feasibility
          and profitability of undertaking various initiatives/investments within and external to the bank. It allows for a new MBA to
          experience the bank’s culture, understand its strengths, understand how it views profitability, and allows the individual direct access to
          senior managers and executives, including the CFO, through various high profile projects.

          DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
          Finance offers Executive Associates a diverse set of challenging opportunities intended to provide exposure to multiple facets of the
          division’s core functions, preparing them for additional responsibility within the division and bank. The EA will initially interact with
          the Financial Performance Measurement and Segment Support groups, as well as the CFO’s office. Examples of potential
          responsibilities include:
          • Developing and refining multi-period financial models to assess business, product and customer profitability. Advising business
               partners of financial considerations to facilitate informed decisions and improved financial performance
          • Assisting segment business leaders to develop financial strategic plans and financial performance measurements to achieve the
               business plan, and developing recommendations to executives to strategically enhance financial performance of business line,
               product, or region
          • Conducting benchmarking exercises with M&T Bank’s peers to assess financial performance and develop best practices
          • Developing cash flow analyses and assessing potential portfolio acquisitions and sales
          • Assisting with the coordination of the bank's annual profit plan and development of monthly and annual earnings forecasts

          PAST PROJECTS ASSIGNED TO EAs IN THIS DEPARTMENT INCLUDE:
          • Initiative-One: Analyzed numerous business line initiatives for growth and revenue opportunities in the Mid-Atlantic Region
             from a profitability and feasibility perspective

          The Marketing group is looking for a Marketing Strategy professional who can assist in leading the Bank's various direct & online
          marketing campaigns. The Executive Associate (EA) hired for this role will participate in all aspects of the campaign execution,
          including working with outside creative/copy vendors, liaise with and provide direction to internal departments (Retail Banking,

          LENDING TRANSFORMATION INITIATIVE

          The Lending Transformation Initiative (LTI) team works closely with the Mortgage, Consumer, Commercial and Business Banking
          lines of business to transform their lending originations, fulfillment, servicing, and default functions. Currently the group is comprised
          of over 30 employees and contains expertise in Process Re-engineering, Project Management, and Program Administration. The
          objective of LTI is to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the lending businesses. This will include improved customer and
          employee satisfaction, increased cost effectiveness and revenue enhancement.

          DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
          The Executive Associate (EA) within Lending Transformation will be based at M&T headquarters in Buffalo, NY, and will work on a
          variety of significant initiatives as assigned by senior management, focused around Process Re-engineering. The EA will work with
          the Process Re-engineering team leading efforts to redefine core lending processes.
          • Lead Process Re-engineering initiatives across multiple divisions using LEAN Six Sigma techniques

          based upon knowledge of each business developed through a consistent calling effort. This objective includes the servicing of existing
          accounts, product cross-selling opportunities, and generation of new accounts. Relationship Managers make efforts to obtain a total
          banking relationship with a client to include short and long-term loans, demand and time deposit accounts, treasury management
          services, short-term investments, and the personal banking of a firm's officers and employees. In addition to providing commercial
          banking services, the Relationship Manager is responsible for coordinating the sale and servicing of trust accounts, personal loans,
          leases, mortgages, and other bank services.

          DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
          The EA hired for this position will participate in the Relationship Management Sales Program (RMSP). The RMSP provides training
          in the areas of Credit, Sales, Product, and our internal systems. During the program, trainees will participate in a variety of instructor-
          led classes, web-based exercises, self-study, plus a rotation with our Loan Analysis department and on-the-job training within Middle
