TECHVENTURE
1. Technical quiz
Rules and Regulations:

   1. Maximum 2 teams are allowed from college. Students of B. Tech & Polytechnic
      can participate in techventure.
   2. Each team comprises of 4 members.
   3. Written test will be conducted if number of teams is more than 5.
   4. There will be prize in the Quiz.
   5. The Questions will be from the basics of technical subjects.



2. Biz Wiz : The Business Quiz

Get ready to complete with best minds with a passion for the business world. Quiz
masters firing a volley of tricky questions; only lighting responses and creative thinking
can sail you through the Biz Wiz. Do you have the spirit a wrestle it out at the quiz?

QUIZ FORMAT

Elimination Round: A written elimination round will be conducted to select SIX teams
for the Stage Round. The written round comprises of 25 objective type questions.

Stage Round: The final of Biz Wiz will be conducted on stage and will consist of four
rounds.
Round 1 – BRANDS: This round will involve questions on brand
Round 2- Current Affairs: This round will consist of the current affairs.
Round 3- Mix Bag: Audio visuals will be shown and team has to identity them
Round 4- Rapid Fire: In this round teams will have very less time to answer the questions
            asked.
RULES
    Each Institute can send TWO teams comprising of THREE student members in
      each team.
    Tea composition cannot change once the elimination round has been taken
    Participants must be dressed in business attire.


3. Pharma Quiz
        Rules and Regulations:
   1)   General awareness round
   2)   Pharma World(with buzzer)
   3)   Audio/Visual(with buzzer)
   4)   Rapid fire
        Rules for the 1st round
           a) Each question will be of 10 marks and for wrong answers there will be negative
              marking.
           b) In case of wrong answer or inability to give answers the question will be passed
              to next team and after that question will not be passed and will be opened to
              audience.
           c) Time limit will be 10 seconds.
        Rules for the 2nd round
           a) Each question will be of 10 marks and for wrong answer there will be negative
              marking i.e 5 marks will be deduced from total scores.
           b) It will be a buzzer round.
        Rules for the 3rd round
           a) It will be buzzer round.One has to identify audio/visual clip.
           b) There will be negative marking (5 marks) after that question will be opened to
              audience.
        Rules for the 4th round

      Each team will have to answer 10 questions in 1 minute. Each question will be of
2 marks.



4. Coding
        Rules and Regulations:

        PROGRAMING
             1. Max 2 teams are allowed from one college.
             2. Each team comprises of 2 members.
            3.   Candidates have to design a given program on the spot.
            4.   Code will be evaluated.
            5.   The judges will ask questions regarding the program.
            6.   Languages provided – C,C++ & JAVA.
            7.   Time limit is 1 hour.

       Debugging
            1. This is an Individual event.
            2. Problem will be given on the spot and candidates will be asked to
               remove errors.
            3. Time Limit is 30 minutes.


5. Paper presentation (ppt.)
     Rules and Regulations:
            1. Max 2 teams are allowed from one college.
            2. Each team comprises of 2 members.
            3. All the entries should reach us latest by 3rd April on college e-mail ID.
            4. Selected entries will be informed by e-mail till 5th April.



6. Project presentation
     Rules and Regulations:
            1. Max 2 teams are allowed from one college.
            2. Each team comprises of 2 members.
            3. All the project presentations should reach us latest by 3rd april by
               college e-mail ID.
            4. Selected Entries will be informed by e-mail till 5th April.
PICASA

1. Tattoo Making

     Rules and Regulations:
        1. Each team comprise of 2 members.
        2. The tattoo should be based on the theme given on the spot.
        3. Colours will be provided.



2. Poster Making
     Rules and Regulations:
        1. Candidates should bring their own Colours.
        2. Theme will be given on the spot.



3. Graphics Designing
     Rules and Regulations:
        1. Max 2 teams are allowed from one college.
        2. Each team comprises of 2 members.
        3. It will include advertisement and logo designing.
        4. Products for Ad and logo designing will be provided on spot.
        5. Time limit is 1.5 hrs.
KALA KRITI
 1. Mehandi
      Rules and Regulations:
       1. Max 2 teams are allowed from one college.
       2. Each team comprise of 2 members.
       3. Candidates should bring their own material.
       4. Time limit is 1 hr.

 2. Rangoli
      Rules and Regulations:
       1. Max 2 teams are allowed from one college.
       2. Each team comprises of max 3 members.
       3. Candidates should bring their own materials.
       4. Time limit is 1 hr.


 3. Nail Art

    Rules and Regulations:
       1. Max 2 teams are allowed from one college.
       2. Each team comprises of max 2 members.
       3. Candidates should bring their own materials.
       4. Time limit is 30mins.


 4. Flower Arrangement
    Rules and Regulations:
       1. Max 2 teams are allowed from one college.
       2. Each team comprises of max 2 members.
       3. Candidates should bring their own materials.
       4. Time limit is 45mins.
    CORPORATE CLEANUP
    1. Ad Mad Show
      1.Each team will consist of four participants

     2. The participants will have to prepare three different categories of advertisements out of
     the below mentioned categories of the given situation, which will be provided to the
     participants on March 2, 2010 through mail.
     Category1. Print advertisement (Compulsory for all Teams)
    Optional Categories: Teams will have to select any two categories to prepare the
advertisements
      Category 2.Web Banner
      Category3. T.V. Advertisement
      Category4. Radio Advertisement
      Category5. E-mail Advertisement


      3. The Event will be divided into Two Stages:
         I.   Screening Round - Submission of Print Advertisement in JPEG Format latest by
              5th April, 2010 through e-Mail.
        II.   Based on screening, 7 teams will be selected for the final round and will be
              intimated on 6th April, 2010.
       III.   Final Round- The selected teams will have to present all three advertisements
              (Print and Other Two) on the day of the event. Maximum time allotted to each
              team for presentation of advertisements will be 10 minutes. Video advertisement
              should not be more than 120 seconds.

      4. General Guidelines:
          a) Judgement will be based on the Novelty, Relevance to situation, Creativity and
             Overall Impact of the advertisements.
          b) The Advertisements should be Original

          c) The Language of Advertisements can be English/Hindi only.

          d) All Advertisements should adhere to ethical standards.

          e) The Judgement of the Panel can’t be challenged.
CHEHRE PE CHEHRA
1. Face Painting

         Rules and Regulations:
            1. Max 2 teams are allowed from one college.
            2. Each team comprises of 2 members.

STRUCTURE: Each team should have 2 members, one who’ll paint and other whose
face is to be painted

TIME ALLOCATION: Max. 1 hr



RULES:

               Themes to be given at the time of the events.
               Participants need to arrange their own accessories and paints.



EVALUATION CRITERIA:

               Justification for the theme
               Clear depiction of the message.
               Colours and accessories used.
PUNCH MANTRA
1. Tag Lines

      Rules and Regulations:
         1. Max 2 teams are allowed from one college.
         2. Each team comprises of 2 members.
         3. Theme will be given on the spot.
         4. Maximum word limit for the tagline is 8 words.
         5. Tag Line should be either in Hindi or English.
         6. Mix of Hindi and English is not allowed.
         7. Time Limit is 30 mins.



BEAT D BOX
1.Gamming (Cricket,FIFA,NFS,WWE & Counter Strike)

      Rules and Regulations:
         1. Each team comprises of max 5 members (counter Strike).
         2. 2 Players for rest of the games.
         3. Two games in 50 rupees.
         4. Cash Prize will be awarded.



VAAD-VIVAAD
1. Group Discussions

      Rules and Regulations:
         1. Max 2 teams are allowed from one college.
         2. Each team comprises of 5 members.
         3. Topics will be given on the spot.

2. Extempore
      Rules and Regulations:
         1. It is an individual event.
         2. Time Limit is 3 mins.
Project Exhibition
GANPATI’s students are invited participate in project exhibition of our college. Its rules
are :-
    1. Maximum 5 members are allowed in a team.

   2. All the synopsis should reach us latest by 3rd April, 2010 at college mail id
      mkganpati@gmail.com & ganpatibilaspur@rediffmail.com

   3. Selected entries will be informed by email till 5 th April, 2010.




Nukkad Natak
Entries are invited for Nukkd Natak latest by 3rd April (02:30 p.m.)
General Rules:

   a) Each team may consist of minimum of 5 members.
   b) The time for each entry shall not exceed 15 minutes. Each minutes of extra time
      used shall lead to 2.5% deduction in the marks awarded.
   c) The natak shall be presented in the traditional “Nukkad Natak” formt, which is
      devoid of any direct bilateral dialogues and contains rhyming couplets or songs
      to present the idea of dialogues.
   d) The themes shall only be related to Social, Political, Environmental or
      Educational issues. Any digression shall lead to rejection of the entry.
   e) No recorded music or recorded dialogues are allowed. Though use of electrical
      musical instruments to provide background score are “ highly discouraged”, it
      doesn’t carry any negative marking. Innovation in terms of use of “out of the
      box” musical instruments shall be rewarded suitably.
   f) Mikes can’t be provided to the participants and thus they are expected to “
      shout at the top of their voices”, for the audience to hear them.
   g) The language medium of the natak can be Hindi or English.
   h) The decision of organizers will be final and binding to all.
Rules & Regulations for Paper Presentation:-

   1. Max. Two teams are allowed from one college.
   2. Each team comprises of 2 members
   3. All the entries should reach us latest by 3rd April 2010 on
      ganpatibilaspur@rediffmail.com, mahna.anjali20@gmail.com
   4. The team is required to submit abstract of their paper up to 5th April 2010 which
      should not exceed the word limit of 250 words. The abstract should be in Times
      New Roman & the font size should be 14.
   5. The team can use only Power point presentation as a mode of presenting their
      paper.
   6. The final paper should be submitted to the above mentioned web site on 6th,
      April 2010.
   7. The time limit for presentation is 10 to 15 mins.
   8. At a time only one speaker is allowed to present the paper. Queries can be
      handled by both.
   9. The students can select their topic from the following topics.
