 Initiated and Incubated at Pilani, Rajasthan by the students of
BITS, Pilani

   Registered as a “Non-Profit Organization” on 12th July, 2007

 Currently established in and functioning successfully in 10 places
in the country.

 Provides basic necessities of the society such as education and
livelihood.

Vision:

“To     Achieve Poverty Free, Knowledge       Driven   and   thus   an
      economically empowered society.”

Mission:

      To provide a three factored educational opportunities (Character
      building, Nation building and Economic advantage giving) to all
      the citizens who are deprived of it;

      To provide livelihood opportunities to all the people who are
      motivated but underprivileged and unemployed.

   and mutual help prepare products and market them.

Objectives

1. To form a group of 8-10 rural women and inculcate in them a
   savings habit

   skill set and interests of the group
3. Help in the production and marketing of the products
4. Make the group and business model self-sustained.

  To run an evening school to enlighten children with the
  importance of education and by imparting the three factored
  education (Character building, Nation building and Economic
  advantage giving) to all.

Mission:

  The mission of the VKCs is to harness the power
   of information and communication technologies
   in the knowledge, skill, economic and social
   empowerment of rural families.

Objectives:

 To inculcate reading habits among the children through our
  library in VKC.
 To make the children familiar with computers.
 To connect the villagers to the external world through
  newspapers,      magazines, computers,     transistor  and
  television that are set up in our VKC

     youth around Pilani on skills like spoken English and computer
     basics that are required to get employed in Rural BPO Source
     Pilani that’s recently started

     employed and thus increase employment rate around Pilani
