BONNIE SPRINGS RANCH/OLD NEVADA
As you’re driving the scenic Red Rock loop, make sure you stop at the petting zoo, riding stables
and old Nevada Village where you an ride a miniature train and witness an 1800’s melodrama in
the streets – look out for the gunslingers! After all the excitement, visit historical Bonnie

DOWNTOWN’S FREMONT STREET EXPERIENCE

The $70 million Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas has transformed five blocks
of the famed thoroughfare into a pedestrian mall. Towering 90 feet above four of the blocks is
a massive space frame that comes to life nightly, featuring 12.5 million LED’s and 540,000 watts

HOOVER DAM/LAKE MEAD

An engineering wonder and one of the world’s largest manmade lakes, Hoover Dam holds back
the Colorado River to form Lake Mead. Over 100 miles long, Lake Mead boasts an incredible
550 miles of shoreline. Enjoy swimming, water skiing, camping, boating scuba diving and
fishing.

MT. CHARLESTON/TOYABE NATIONAL FOREST

This area offers miles of hiking and biking trails about 30 miles from Las Vegas. The pine forests
provide great picnic spots, campgrounds, horseback riding in the summer and beautiful skiing in

Vegas take US 95 North to Hwy 156 then west on Hwy 156, 17 miles.

RED ROCK CANYON

Red Rock Canyon has evolved from a 400 million year old sea bed into a series of magnificent
geological formations and wind-sculptured sandstone outcroppings. Take a scenic drive
through the blazing red rock formations of Southern Nevada. Located 16 miles west of Las
Vegas. Entrance fee is $5 per vehicle.

SPRING MOUNTAIN RANCH

Once owned by billionaire Howard Hughes, this desert oasis sits at the base of the scenic Red
Rock Canyon. Rich in Nevada history and located 20 miles west of Las Vegas. 702 875 4141
SPRINGS PRESERVE

Once home to ancient tribes and the resting place for weary Spanish explorers, it now features
walking and hiking trails and a new eight-acre botanical garden. 702 822 8344

VALLEY OF FIRE

Over 35,000 acres of beautiful sand-stone mark the existence of an early Indian civilization in
this desert park. Located 50 miles from Las Vegas. 702 397 2088
