Manual Work Around Template
Business Unit: PMO Recovery Leader:
Essential Function(s)
Assumptions: Description: Manual workaround procedures are a set of steps or
tasks that need to be conducted to perform an essential function
when IT systems and applications are not readily available. IT
systems may not have yet been recovered, but the essential
function may need to be performed or at least part of the essential
function. While these procedures may be very difficult to perform
at the normal operating volume, performing the procedure on a
temporary basis may be necessary to prevent a non-recoverable
impact caused by failing to perform the function at any capacity
level.
Essential Function: E2E Helpdesk Ticket entry and update
Steps (in sequential order)
1 Note all service requests and troubleshooting issues and calls in paper log with customer, time and date of issue
2 When Disaster Recovery electronic log is brought online update system with entries in paper log
