                      Management Information Systems Manager
                             Level 6 – Exempt
                            Location: Wentzville
                           Hours: Monday-Friday
                            Salary: $49,000/year

A.   Description

     The MIS Manager is responsible for all aspects of the daily operation of the
     agency’s management information systems, and ambulatory practice management
     and electronic health record systems. Job responsibilities include:

     Core Responsibilities:
     • Assists with implementation and maintenance, training, and technical and
        operational support for ambulatory practice management and electronic health
        record system.      35%
     • Oversee day-to-day operations of servers and desktop workstation’s including
        issues related to server and workstation maintenance, upgrades, backups, and
        data archiving.     25%
     • Oversee day-to-day operation of LAN, WAN and Citrix server farm including
        issues related to maintenance, upgrades and training. 20%
     • To identify server and workstation hardware and software requirements,
        oversee purchase, installation, and training related to servers and workstation
        hardware, software, and printers. 10%
     • Customer Support Center.           5%

     Other Responsibilities:
     • To serve on various agency and non-agency committees as the systems
        representative.   2%
     • Miscellaneous duties as assigned. 3%

B.   Qualifications

     •   Bachelors Degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology
         Management, Medical Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
     •   5–7 years experience in Healthcare IT preferred or IT administration and
         ability to manage multiple systems projects at one time.
     •   Previous experience with NextGen or other EHR’s preferred
     •   Experience with Windows OS’s, Citrix, SQL, Exchange, and Crystal reports
         preferred.

     The Management information Systems Manager receives supervision from the
     CIO.
