Allied Telesis (ATI) Company Overview

    ATI is a globally renowned IP network equipment and solution provider
     in the industry, providing complete solution packages from SMB to
     large enterprise, government and educational networks.
    The network products it can provide include full series of switches from
     access layer to core layer, multi-protocol supported routers, and
     wireless products.
    Besides conventional switching and router products, it supports
     emerging IP technologies including WDM-based networking, high-
     speed xDSL and FTTH, enhanced wireless and 10G transmission.
    It has more than 200 branches and representative offices around the
     world, and 30% of stuff is directly evolved in engineering. Its R&D
     centers are distributed in China, USA, Japan, Canada, Germany, etc.

ATI Switch Products Overview

   Provide full line of switch products from core, aggregation to
    access layer application both on layer 2 and layer 3.
   Its products are available in managed, Web-smart and
    unmanaged models with a variety of Gigabit and Fast
    Ethernet interface types and port density.
   Support a wide range of features, such as network
    management, network resilience, 10 Gbps bandwidth, traffic

 Pros:
          Abundant types in middle and low end switches.
          More flexible design in middle and low end switches such as redundant
               power supply, expansible slot.
              Some low end switches is IPv6 ready
              Low price


 Cons:
          Lack in high end products, SB4000 is not as strong as S7500 either in
               performance, interface types or interface density.
              Lack in L3- Products
              Most products lack PoE function
              For solution, ATI products do not fit for large campus network building.
              No MAN Ethernet products
