                          Company Overview
Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Gaithersburg, Maryland, GL Communications Inc. is a
leading manufacturer of test equipment for T1, E1 and T3 signaling, traffic loading, as well as
voiceband and data protocol analysis. GL develops and sells products that applies to far-
reaching and diversified areas of the telecommunications industry.

The Digital Central Office Switch Simulator (DCOSS) provides extensive signaling and traffic
loading capabilities across T1, E1, and T3 systems. Voiceband traffic generation and reception
features include Voice, Fax, Modem, DTMF, MF, and Frequency Tone signals. Protocols
supported include PRI ISDN, SS7, and a variety of CAS protocols including MFC-R2, R1,
SS5, and E&M. Enhanced capabilities include Voice Quality Testing(PAMS/PSQM), Bulk
Calling (including scripting), access to analog or BRI phone handsets, trunk monitoring, and
remote access.

T1, E1, and T3 Analysis Cards provide detailed voiceband and protocol analysis capabilities.
Applications include BERT, recording and playback of files, and signaling capture. Protocol
analysis support includes dtmf, mf, mfc-r2, PRI ISDN, SS7, GR-303, V.5X, and others.
Automated echo cancellation testing and voice quality testing are also provided.
