                      STRATEGIC PLAN I.A.M.T.T.E. 2007 – 2010

Introduction
The Board of the International Association of Mensendieck Therapists, Teachers and
Educations (I.A.M.T.T.E.) hereby presents the revised Strategic Plan for 2007-2010.

As you will read, the most important aims of the I.A.M.T.T.E. Board is to formulate practical
goals for the future. They will be taken into the action plan so that you, as a member, easily
can see what I.A.M.T.T.E. is doing for you, your members and your students.

I.A.M.T.T.E. 2 Strategic Plan 2007-2010
GOALS
I.A.M.T.T.E. was established on April 17th, 1998 with the purpose to preserve and spread the
use of the Mensendieck system and to improve the internal and external cooperation in this
area.

In the long term policy I.A.M.T.T.E. focuses on the following issues:

   1. To preserve and develop the Mensendieck and Cesar systems/methods
   2. To promote and spread knowledge of the Mensendieck and Cesar systems/methods
   3. To stimulate national and international collaboration between the Mensendieck and
      Cesar therapists, teachers and students

The I.A.M.T.T.E. Board will endeavour to achieve this policy by way of organising
congresses, stimulate scientific research, provide information and facilitate exchange of
knowledge and experience between therapists, teachers, educations and students worldwide.

Responsibilities towards the members
After every General Assembly, every second year, a new or revised strategic plan by the
I.A.M.T.T.E. Board will be sent to the members to inform the members about the goals and
how to achieve them in the nearby future.

Once a year the I.A.M.T.T.E. Board will write an annual report to make clear what has been
done and achieved in that year. There is also a financial report made every year. At the
General Assembly this report is presented to the members.

I.A.M.T.T.E. 3 Strategic Plan 2007-2010
                                 ACTION PLAN 2007 - 2010

      1. To preserve and develop the Mensendieck and Cesar systems/methods

Cesar included on equal terms in the association 2007/2008
In The Netherlands the associations of the Mensendieck and Cesar therapists have merged
into one organisation. The name of the new Dutch organisation is Vereninging voor
Oefentherapeuten Cesar en Mensendieck (VvOCM). I.A.M.T.T.E. wants to include the Cesar
therapists in the association.

This was formerly accepted by the General Assembly April 2007 and therefore the Articles
have to be changed. This is a big task and costs time and money. The previous Board started
this work and the present Board will of course continue this. The necessary actions will be to
adjust the Articles according to the comments in the General Assembly 2007 and the present
Board, getting the adjustments approved by the members, hopefully through correspondence,
so that we shall not have to wait for the next General Assembly. Then it has to be presented to
a notary before the new Articles can be operational.

Yearly meeting with the members 2008
To stay informed about developments in the Mensendieck/Cesar associations and educations
the Board would like to meet yearly with representatives of the Danish, Dutch, Norwegian
and Swedish organisations and educations.

The I.A.M.T.T.E. Board will investigate how the quality is ensured in the different countries.

I.A.M.T.T.E. 4 Strategic Plan 2007-2010
        2. To promote and spread knowledge of the Mensendieck and Cesar
