3.What is your group’s expectations of a chapter called “The Dolls”?
How are the dolls going to be described? What part will the dolls take in
the chapter?


4. Look at the copy of page 11 - 13 of the chapter “The Dolls”. As a
group underline the words or phrases that suggest that this chapter might
be different to your expectations. Look particularly at how the dolls are
described. How does the writer create a sinister atmosphere?
