As well as being an accomplished actor Dave Ivkovic is one of Melbourne’s finest stand up comedians. Born in Australia with a Serbian heritage, Dave started on the stand up circuit as a dare in 1997 and has never looked back. With a quick wit and childlike charm Dave is bound to tickle the funny bone of any audience. Well known and well liked amongst audiences and comedians alike, Dave will bring an energetic spark to any performance with his high energy and keen observations. Dave regularly performs as MC and support act at all the major Comedy clubs in Victoria, including The Comic’s Lounge and The Comedy Club, and comedy clubs and private functions all around Australia. Dave has been heard nationwide on radio via Austereos Homegrown and has appeared in many films, TV shows and theatre productions. Dave is also a regular on the corporate circuit having done gigs for, Place Urbanity – Australian Centre for Moving Image, Westwater Property, Argyle Diamond mines – W.A., Urban Development Institute of Australia as well as many sporting clubs. In his time on the Melbourne comedy scene Dave has had the privilege of working with and befriending some of Australia’s best comedians including Dave Hughes, Dave Grant, Pete Hellier, Pommy Johnson, Colin Cole and others.
