McLean, VA (August 27, 2010) – Global sports and entertainment marketing
leader Octagon announced today the signing of Christina McHale to a full
representation agreement. Octagon Tennis Senior Director Kelly Wolf will lead
McHale’s representation team and will immediately begin pursuing racquet and
apparel sponsorships for her. The 18-year-old native of Teaneck, NJ is the
youngest player in the WTA Top 125 (#113 ranking) and the eighth highest
ranked American. McHale will play Vania King next week in the first round of the
U.S. Open.

Earlier this month, McHale defeated WTA Top 100 players Nadia Petrova and
Ayumi Morita en route to the round of 16 at the Western & Southern Financial
Group Masters & Women’s Open in Cincinnati. A U.S. Fed Cup team member
who speaks fluent Spanish and Mandarin, McHale has received main draw wild
cards for the U.S. Open, Roland Garros and Indian Wells along with singles
qualifying wild cards to New Haven and Miami in 2010.

McHale is coached by the CourtSense team based out of Tenafly, NJ.
