Description: Vertical arc of about 150 with toothed edge. A-frame inner supports to arc; scalloped outer
             spokes. Bubble level with pierced strapwork casing and finials at ends. Limb divided 70-0-
             70 every 1 with vernier to 2'. Venier nicely engraved but not mathematically precise.

             intended to rotate on the azimuth circle of a theodolite. Two screws in base.

Description: Bubble level with three windows, pink interior, and floral and foliate engraving on tube.
             Mounted on an alidade similarly decorated. Each sight vane has a pin-hole sight opposite a
             window with cross-hairs. Short vane has a fine adjustment screw for fixing sights.

             wood.; ;

Description: Small artillery level. Vertical piece is hollow box with vertical slots on two opposite faces.
             A cylindrical brass tube slides in and out of the box. The tube has parallel circles drawn on it
             for graduations, and is pierced on these lines in such a way that when one hole shows in a
             slot, a hole on the opposite side is evident, through both of which a sight may be taken.

Description: Very heavy part of an instrument. Standing base has a straight, slotted section extending up
             from one side. May have had a slide. Also, a straight line down the center of this piece and
             down the base, plus three metal tab-stops show where a plumb-bob apparatus may have
             hung.

Description: Saxony coat of arms. Micrometer base for an artillery level. Circular surface, with a chord
             cut from one section. Protruding from bottom is a large end of a screw. Scale on surface
             indicates where a leveling piece could be moved, by means of the micrometer apparatus,
             from 20-0-20 by 1.

Description: High Baroque style. Triangular top section has, on one side, a bottom arc scale, 17-0-17, by
             1. On same face either side of center, two circles. One circle has 0-10, with screw through
             center holding a little hand pointer to indicate a number. Other circle is graduated 0-15, hole
             for screw and pointer in center (missing those).

Description: Similar in design to M-210, but no arc scale. Front, foot, and plumb-bob are heavily
             engraved with foliage and geometric patterns. There is a small restraing bar over the plumb-
             line, indicating that the plumb-bob apparatus was only meant for determing horizontal level.

Description: Level has open triangle on top, straight base of which has a scale 5-0-5 by 1/6 on one face.
             Iron plumb bob. Triangle is attached to slot in foot by an iron screw. Triangle is engraved
             with geometric shapes and patterns. Foot is engraved with geometric patterns on three faces,
             and a fruit branch motif on the other.

Description: A 60 section of a circle on top, with large triangular cut-outs. Arc scale at bottom of section
             reads 15-0-15 by 1. Section is engraved with vines and wavy lines. A single-hole sight
             slides vertically in center aperture. On one edge of aperture is vertical scale for use with
             sliding sight, 0-20, by 1.

Description: Unusual artillery sight. Triangular section is levelled off at the top. Face is elegantly
             engraved with flowers and assorted foliage. Arc scale reads 15-0-15, by 1, on inner arc. and

Description: Open triangular frame hinged to circular base. Base of triangle divided 15-0-15 every 30'.
             Pendulum plumb bob with finely soldered repair near its fiddle-shaped end. Bob pierced
             with a hole so that it can be secured for transport by a milled screw attached to left leg of
             frame.

Description: A 70 section of a circle, made of carling brass vine trendrils. Arc scale reads 40-0-40, by
             10, on the inner arc, and 45-0-45, by 1, on the outer arc. Decoratively cut apex has a floral
             engraving. Brass plumb apparatus hangs from hand-cut wing screw. Bob has curved shape,
             with indicator point at the bottom. Foot has fancy cut, with a flat arch.

Description: A 45 section on top. Scales read, fron inner ring to outer ring: 45-0-45, by 5; 40-0-40, by 5;

             central vertical piece. From top of this piece hangs an iron plumb-line that splits and into
             two branches before curving to a spherical brass bob.

             burning heart pierced by an arrow. Hours in Arabic numerals. Compass rose, 4 points,
             labeled in Latin abbreviations. Compass with original blued needle, type 16. Bone
             fragments of 4 saints secured in each cross arm by strands of pearls and gold filigree.
             Parchment strip labels each relic. Bones purported to be of St. Sabina, St. Ursula, St.

Description: Polyhedral sundial that opens like a diptych. Two latch hooks (one missing). For latitude of
