License to insolvent debtor to continue business. _________ is indebted to the creditors in several sums which he [she] is not at present able to pay, but which he [she] expects to be able to pay at the end of two years from this date. In consideration of the premises the creditors, and each of them grants to _________ license to continue his [her] business for the term of two years from the date of these presents, without being sued or proceeded against for or on account of any debt, sum of money, or other thing where he [she] is or may be charged or indebted to the creditors or their respective partners, or the creditors, so far as relates to their acts and deeds, covenants with _________, his [her] executors and administrators, that they, the covenanting parties, or their respective executors, or administrators, partner or partners, or any other person or persons will not at any time, during the term of two years, sue or proceed against _________, his [her] heirs, executors, administrators, or his [her] or their goods or estates, for or on account of any debts or sums of money which he [she] now owes to the creditors respectively or their respective partners, either solely or jointly with or for any other person or persons, or for or on account of any other thing he [she] now is, or shall, or may, be charged or chargeable; and that these presents may be pleaded in any court of law or equity as a bar, and in discharge of all and every action or other proceedings, judgment, and execution, which shall or may be brought, commenced, prosecuted, or taken against him [her], _________, his [her] heirs, executors, or administrators, or his [her] or their goods or estates, by the covenanting parties.
