The Carnival Glory had the distinction of being the first cruise ship of the season in Saint John, a
featured port on the ship’s four- and five-day eastern Canada cruises from New York. To mark the
occasion, the ship hosted a reception for local dignitaries and VIPs during which Captain Agostino
Fazio was presented with a highly detailed nautical telescope – a Saint John tradition that dates
back years. Following the presentation, attendees were treated to a champagne toast while they
enjoyed delicious hors d’ oeuvres prepared the Carnival Glory’s F&B team. What a great way to
begin the season!
