                             Objectives

     Provide the student with the basic knowledge to be able to …

     • … analyze and design the most important blocks belonging
     to a wireless RF transceiver built in a single die in CMOS
     technology (Low Noise Amplifier, Mixer, Voltage Controlled
     Oscillator, Frequency Synthesizer, Power Amplifier).

     • … make a trade-off between the different figures of merit
     (FoM) of these blocks.

     • … analyze the architecture of a wireless transceiver and its
     relation with its defining standard.

    about modulations.
