Cover Letter
We would really love to have the opportunity to work with your campground. We have
the drive and the personality to make a success of any position we may be offered.

Sometimes, the toughest times in our lives open us to a new path that offers more
satisfaction than we ever dreamed possible. My husband and I have experienced loss of
jobs and home in 2009 but instead of giving up, we thought through what's really
important to us -- being together, being free to meet new challenges, people and see
new places. KOA offers all that and more!

We have worked at the Seattle/Tacoma KOA (Summer 2009 under the management of
Carey Keith) and at the Fort Collins/Poudre Canyon KOA (Summer 2010 under the
management of Theresa Kippschull). We have also worked at a private campground,
American Sunset in Westport, Washington for two winters (2009, 2010).

I'm confident that if you meet us and speak with those who have worked and lived near
us, you'll see that we have a lot to offer. My project management and
computer/customer service skills help with the administrative/sales side and my
husband's experience as a handyman rounds out the team nicely.

Give us a chance and we'll give you more value than you could ever expect. We both
work hard/smart and love to be around a variety of people of all ages and backgrounds.

Thank you for your consideration and keep camping alive for new generations!

I started at CalFed Bank as a project manager with the Project Consulting team under Patricia Suhay Aungle in 1997. With the sale of
CalFed by Citigroup, I assumed the role of AVP in charge of Desktop Support, managing a team of technicians performing computer
support for back office personnel of the bank. My team was eventually laid off during a major restructure.
 American Savings/Washington Mutual, Stockton, CA (6/1/1987 - 6/7/1997)
I started as a programmer in a subsidiary real estate group of American Savings (AREG) and worked my way up to senior business
analyst. When the bank was taken under government supervision, I transitioned to the retail bank itself on the commercial real estate
team where I provided both technical support and eventually managed a risk-based capital analysis team. When Washington Mutual
acquired the company, I chose to move on to California Federal Bank.

someone's lap! We understand the importance of maintaining a clean, safe environment -- both for them
and for fellow campers.
