                           I want to start this month's "Scoop" by sending warm congratulations to Chef
                           Louis Perrotte, CEC, AAC. Chef Perrotte was named the Continental
                           Director for the Americas for WACS. He has been a longtime member of
                           ACF, a former Southeast Region Vice President and a member
                           of ACF Central Florida Chapter. Chef Perrotte has been a mentor to many
                           chefs, myself included, and I know he will bring his usual drive for excellence
                           to this, his newest endeavor.

                           Chapter documents

                           There are some outstanding chapter issues that I need to remind everyone
      CCA, AAC
                           of. For a long time, ACF has attempted to gather three documents from our
  Southeast Region         chapters, so that we may be in compliance with IRS regulations and have
   Vice President          other legal protections as advised by counsel. These documents are:
                           Chapter Bylaws, Articles of Incorporation and Proof of Federal Tax ID
                           Number. Every chapter must have these documents on file at the ACF
                           national office to be in compliance and considered in good standing. We
                           have been very patient in waiting and diligent in communication,
                           however, more than a quarter of all chapters do not have all three of these
                           documents on file at ACF. Please do whatever is necessary to confirm your
                           status and to come into compliance.

                           Seeking candidates for committees
                           Per our ACF bylaws, a representative from each region shall be elected to
                           both the Internal Audit Committee and the Ethics Committee at each
   STATE                   respective regional conference. We will elect these representatives at the
COORDINATORS               Southeast Regional Conference in Birmingham. Please query your fellow

  Donald Sedivy, CEC       I recently sent communication to all chapter officers seeking nominations for
                           the Joseph Amendola Southeast Region Outstanding Member Award. To
       Georgia             date, I have gotten very little response. Only a chapter's Board of Directors
