               INTRODUCTION:

               CRM is a strategy that focuses on building strong relationships with customers
               and potential customers for creating and maintaining a loyal customer base.
               Customer Relationship Management (CRM) works across all departments to
               harmonize customer-centric thinking. Customer Relationship Management
               reduces costs, increases efficiency and improves customer satisfaction.

               Impel Customer Relationship Management is designed and built for non-western
               business processes and sales culture. Providing access across geographies,
               Impel CRM can include dealers and channels. With Web leads and service
               integration and SMS and Mobile access to CRM data, Impel Customer
               Relationship Management is perfectly suited for non-western businesses. CRM
               has been called a strategic tool that combines business processes, technology,
               employees and information across an enterprise to attract and retain profitable
               customers. For companies that use CRM and those that plan to, it is important to
               understand that CRM technology has developed, evolved and matured over the
               years. It is now a reliable process that combines business and technology to
               power a customer-focused organisation. It’s very hard to run a successful
               business without a strong focus on CRM. After all, it’s all about the customer.

               Successful CRM involves many different areas of your company, starting with
               sales, of course. But also various other customer-facing areas, like marketing
               and customer service.

               OBJECTIVES:
                    The current study was aimed at determining the approach being adopted by
                    businesses in India for relationship marketing.




               HYPOTHESIS:
               1.      The CRM is used by the different companies


               2.      Every company has its own CRM depending on their need & requirements

               METHODOLOGY:
               Study is going to be conducted in the district of Mumbai in Maharashtra.




               PRIMARY DATA:
               A questionnaire survey will be conducted for the purpose of the study. The study
               is based on primary as well as secondary data. Primary data will be collected
               from a sample of 75 respondents of Mumbai district chosen using non-probability
               judgment sampling and using a structured questionnaire.




               SECONDARY DATA:
               Secondary data is the data, which is already in existence. It will be collected
               mainly through internet and some help will also be taken from books and articles.
               Secondary sources of data will include publication of Self Help Groups, Journals
               and Periodicals.
