The Teen Job Bank is for 13 to 15 year old residents who are willing to do work for homeowners
in the community. Homeowners come to us with a specific need (lawn raked, snow shoveled,
etc.) and we will try to pair them with a student in their general area who has registered with the
Job Bank. The homeowner and students’ parent then make all the arrangements as to the duties,
pay, hours, transportation, etc. The Teen Job Bank does not include babysitting. Please
  call 285-1990 if interested.

Poquonock is home to the beautiful Rainbow Reservoir section of the
Farmington River, the Poquonock Elementary School, Welch Park and
our 450-acre Northwest Park recreational facility and Nature Center.
Homes date from the late 17th century to brand new ones where
residents are just seeding their first lawns.

You need only read the street signs to know that Poquonock
residents love the outdoors: Edgewood, Beechwood, Dogwood
and Winterwood - Bayberry, Cornfield, Crabapple, Foxglove, Appletree
                and Juniper.

A visit to Windsor’s Poquonock neighborhood can include
swimming, hiking, canoeing and cross-country skiing or, it can
just be a leisurely tour of a tiny village that has become a big
                part of our town.
