China’s impact on Canada-US trade relations

Do Canadians and Americans view the world differently? Not always, but
in the case of trade with China, they certainly do. Conventional perceptions
about the impact of China on US and Canadian trade interests could not be
more at odds. Americans worry that China’s growth is at the expense of the
US, that global corporations will move jobs and investments from the US
to China, and China will flood the US market with cheap consumer goods
