1 1       INTRODUCTION

1.1 1.1 PURPOSE
The following example shows how to configure the AT-RG634 for a simple FXS-to-FXS connection.

Figure 2.1 illustrates the topology of this FXS-to-FXS connection example.




3 3       CONFIGURATION DETAILS

3.1 3.1 CONFIGURATION FOR THE ADSL LINK FOR AT-RG634_1
The ADSL link between the AT-RG634_1 and the AC_1 is based on the following main parameters:

      -   -   ADSL Annex A
      -   -   G.DMT
      -   -   VPI/VCI: 0/100
      -   -   PPPoA Routed
      -   -   VcMux encapsulation
      -   -   Authentication Scheme: PAP
      -   -   Username for AT-RG634_1: test
      -   -   Password for AT-RG634_1: test
      -   -   Peer IP address dynamically assigned

3.2 3.2 CONFIGURATION FOR AT-RG634_1
# Create a PPPoA transport named pppoa-1 using the defined parameters
pppoa add transport pppoa-1 dialout pvc 1 a1 0 100
pppoa set transport pppoa-1 welogin pap
