               services to students and faculty.

2009:         Training in Elluminate – online teaching platform used in UVic’s School of
              Nursing—and Moodle.

1983-87:      Office Training Manager for MicroCHIP, a federally funded job training program
              for at-risk youth in Toronto. I developed curricula and trained up to twenty youth
              at a time in computer skills, office procedures, and manual payroll.

Volunteer Service
2010-ongoing Member of Governance Committee, The Farmlands Trust (Greater Victoria)
              Society, a non-profit organization protecting food security.
2009:         Communications Assistant: wrote press releases and articles for Veterinarians
              Without Borders World Rabies Day.
2009:         Volunteer, Association for the Study of Literature and the Environment
              Conference.
2004-7:       Founder and organizer of annual literary fundraising event for UVic’s
              Department of English.
