					CLARINS SKIN SPA LAUNCH EVENT PROPOSAL
      PREPARED FOR NORDSTROM
CLARINS SKIN SPA IN-STORE EVENT

CLARINS customers will be invited to meet and greet, be pampered and pose, twitter
and tweet at CLARINS Skin Spa at Nordstroms located in South Coast Plaza, San
Francisco Centre, Pentagon City and Michigan Avenue hosted by CLARINS Director of
Skin Spa Development, Chantal Sanders.

Nordstrom VIP customers, locals socials, and media will receive an invitation to attend an
exclusive cocktail event focusing on the opening of the new CLARINS Skin Spa, with a
preview of new products used in the Skin Spa treatments. A prominent local socialite will
co-host the evening featuring complimentary signature CLARINS Skin Spa services
including: mini massages, skincare product demos, and treatments. CLARINS expert
Chantal Sanders will be available to discuss new products and treatments to our guests.

A makeup artist (for touch-ups) and a photographer will be hired to shoot guests for
coverage in local magazines.
EVENT & PRESS EXPECTATIONS
•   Event time.
     – The event will be held from 6-8PM (near closing time) but will be coordinated on a case by
         case basis in accordance with the store hours.
•   Event attendance.
     – It is envisioned that 50 individuals comprising of journalists, Nordstrom VIP consumers, and
         socials will attend the event.
•   Consumer incentive.
     – As the cocktail event will be scheduled in the months transitioning from winter to
         spring/summer, consumers will be focused on how to restore & renew their dry winter skin.
         They will be excited to speak with CLARINS Skin Care expert, Chantal Sanders, to learn how
         to individually target their specific skin care needs and renew its shine! Moreover, consumers
         will receive a gift bag of 1x use samples allowing them to try all new spring product launches.
•   Express spa treatments.
     – VIP consumers will be able to book 10-15 minute express spa treatments in the new Skin Care
         Spa room. In addition, “circuit beauty” stations will be set up at counter for guests to
         circulate and experience a taste of CLARINS treatments, i.e. beauty breaks, including lip,
         neck, and hand treatments.
•   Press Goals in each market.
     – 1 Print Newspaper Feature Story
     – 2-4 Skin Spa/Treatments Feature Boxes in Regional Lifestyle Publications and/or
         Newspapers
     – 1-2 Regional Lifestyle Publications to feature event images in their Social/Party Pics pages
     – Broadcast coverage will be secured where applicable
