rules according to the Russian standards ; to be able to solve on an example of
concrete situations questions of an estimation, registration and accumulation of
the information on financial and economic activity of the organisation for the

in foreign markets, as well as to communicate with foreign companies in the
domestic market.
Content The discipline is composed of 5 parts, every part – of 2 till 4 themes, including
practical tasks in the class room and questions to self control.
Part 1. is dedicated to the essence and implications of international marketing,
as well as to general trends in the world market in the resent 10 years. The
difference between domestic and international marketing is also explained.
Part 2. deals with investigation methods and choice of foreign target market.
Indexes of foreign market situation and their dynamics. Sources of foreign
trade information, methods of data collection and processing are analyzed.
In Part 3. Forming of adequate international marketing strategies is presented.
The backgrounds of international business activity paradigm are dealt with.
The definition of foreign market processing mode is lined up.
Part 4. Formulates the meaning of the international marketing mix. It
underscores the need to standardize or to individualize the company’s product
on a foreign target market, to look for an adequate sales channel in a foreign
market, to set up a reasonable price in the chosen foreign target market and to
advertize according to peculiarities of local buyers.
Part 5. Analyses different international marketing management structures,
basing on foreign market outlines, company’s goals in the target market, its
international experience and finances. Requirements to international marketing
personnel are also dealt with.
