EQIP contracts may not exceed a total of $300,000 of financial assistance for all payments through FY2014.
Contracts will have a minimum length of one year after the last practice is certified complete and a maximum length not to exceed 10 years.
Payments for management practices are limited to no more than three years.
Participants who qualify as a member of Historically Underserved Group (Socially Disadvantaged, Limited Resource or Beginning Farmer) may receive a payment equal to 90% of
the estimated average cost as reflected in the payment schedule. Conditions under notes apply to all participants.
Management practices applied with funding from the 2002 Farm Bill are not eligible for the same practice or the same tier on the same field, same chicken house, or similar
 situation.

Participants agree to maintain conservation practices implemented with EQIP financial assistance for the practice life, which may exceed the length of the contract.

A participant will be eligible for financial assistance payments for irrigation related practices only on land that has been irrigated for two of the last five years prior to application for
assistance. Financial assistance is only available to improve irrigation water management of existing systems through increased efficiency that results in water conservation
and/or improved utilization of nutrients. If participant is applying code 442 he/she must agree to allow the University of Delaware to conduct a can test before payment can be made
for code 449. Three years maximum payment for code 449. No cap on number of acres enrolled in code 449 for Chesapeake Watershed Initiative Fund Code . If enrolled in code 118,
participant can only enroll in tier 3, irrigation water management. If replacing center pivot (442) existing center pivot must be salvaged and a receipt obtained. If hose system is
being replaced, serial number of hose system and fields used to irrigate must be documented in folder. Hose system cannot be used on other fields to establish irrigation history.

for code 449.
