corporate clients. Its services portfolio includes investment funds, wealth management, corporate finance advice,
securities trading, lending services, and deposits and treasury services. The company operates through four
divisions/segments, namely, Asset Management, Banking, Corporate Finance and Securities. The Asset Management
segment is focused on private clients and funds. The Banking segment includes asset-based lending especially in the UK
and Germany. For companies and trustees, the Corporate Finance segment offers debt advisory and initial public offering
(IPO) advisory services; mergers and acquisitions advice; restructuring; and pensions advisory solutions. The Securities
segment operates through two principal trading companies called Winterflood Securities Limited (liquidity provider) and
Close Brothers Seydler AG (broker dealer in domestic and international bonds and equities). The company offers services
in the UK, Ireland, Channel Islands and Germany. Close brothers is headquartered in London, UK.
