     Important message to the District Tuberculosis Officers (I)TOs)

     It has been observed that some of the DTOs, while sending the quarterly
     reports, do not affix sufficient stamps and do not sign above the 'Despatcher'
     seal on the envelop. As a result of this, the National Tuberculosis Institute,
     Bangalore, has to make penalty payment while receiving it. This should be
     avoided henceforth.
     Therefore, the DTOs should ensure:
     1. to weigh the envelop containing quarterly reports and then fix the sufficient
        stamps. If this is not done, NTI has to pay the double charges to actual
        postage.
     2. that the signature on 'despatcher' seal is made. Other wise, NTI has to pay
        fine if the signature is not there.

     The above two points are most important.
