                                      Discovering Jesus’ Power
                                         Sunday, October 31st,
                                            5:30-7:30 p.m.
                                  HELP! HELP! We need lots and lots of
                              candy for our Fall Festival this year.
                              Donations of individually wrapped candy
                              needs to be placed in the tubs marked “Fall
                              Festival.” We’ll be collecting for the next few

                              come and join you for this fun evening. We’ll
have games of all kinds, hot dogs and nachos, and especially LOTS AND
LOTS OF CANDY FOR EVERYONE!!! Come in your favorite costume;

“Discovering Jesus’ Power” together.
    Also, we can use all the volunteers we can get. Please call Alan in the
church office if you’re interested in helping. You can work the whole
evening or for a short time!!!
 MISSIONS MATTERS—Evangelizing West County and Beyond
1. GUATEMALA — Please pray for the team going on our October 30-November 6 mission trip
   to Guatemala. Team members going are Danny Bullock, David Bullock, Russ Ewing, Linda
   Golden, Tom Golden, Elizabeth Henke, Kent Henke, Keevin Henke, Scott Kelly, Anna Kelly,
   Amy Martin, Trevor Reese, Doug Rohrer, Rich Street and Paula Sherrill. We will be doing
   construction projects, a children’s program and a women’s event on this trip. Prayer guides are
   available at the Welcome Center.
2. ELLISVILLE — The City of Ellisville is looking for volunteers to help with a work day that
   is being planned for Saturday, November 6. This work day is a part of a community
   assistance program designed to assist eligible Ellisville senior citizens in need with home
   repairs, lawn maintenance or other projects as needed. Please call the church office by
   Wednesday, November 3, if you would like to participate in this missions project.
3. GUATEMALA — Our strategic partners in Guatemala have asked us to bring fish oil
   supplements, cloth baby diapers and children’s scissors with us on our October 30-
   November 6 mission trip. If you would like to donate some of these items, please bring them
   to the church and drop them in the tubs labeled “Guatemala Mission Trip Supplies” no later
   than Wednesday, October 27.
4. ELLISVILLE — Mark your calendars now-our annual missions banquet will be on Sunday
   evening, November 21 at 6:30 PM. It will be a pot luck dinner. We will review our 2010 and
   preview our 2011 mission trips and activities.
