                                    FUNDRAISERS

BEEF – The Synagogue is taking orders (both one-time and recurring) for kosher,
organic, grass-fed, anti-biotic-free beef. The beef is delivered monthly and can be picked
up at the synagogue. Available are briskets, ground beef and rib eye steaks. Well below
market prices.

SCRIP - Remember: when you go shopping, stop at the synagogue and pick up scrip for
the stores you are going to shop at. The synagogue earns 5% of each purchase if you use
scrip. We have scrip for Giant, Koshermart, Magruder’s, Shalom, Shaul’s and Snider’s.

Additionally, if you have a Safeway Club card and go to eScrip.com and register the card
and link it to Ohev Sholom – The National Synagogue, every time you swipe the card the
synagogue gets a donation dependent on what you spend and what you purchase.

CAR DONATION PROGRAM – If you have a car that you were planning to get rid of
or were going to trade in, you can donate it to the synagogue. We will pick it up, remove
it (whether it starts or not) and will auction it off. You will get a tax deduction for the
sale of the car (not the Blue Book value). If interested you can call 1-877-746-5664. Be
sure to tell them it is for Ohev Sholom – The National Synagogue (please call us and let
us know that you have donated the car so we can track it).
