15th Annual Beautification Awards for Outstanding
Landscapes Within the City, Nominate Your Favorite!
The Brecksville Beautification Committee is once again looking for properties in Brecksville with outstanding “curb
appeal” to honor in their annual awards program. Potential properties may include private residences, businesses, churches,
and entranceways to residential and commercial developments.
Nominations are open to all business and residences in the city of Brecksville. Nominations must be submitted by
June 29, 2010 to: Brecksville City Hall, 9069 Brecksville Rd. Brecksville, 44141,
by email to beautification@brecksville.oh.us or by fax to 526-8379.
Winners will be recognized and presented with an award at an August City Council meeting.
“This award is all about recognizing beautiful properties and the hard work that goes into maintaining them. We look
for stand-out commercial and residential properties and often it is difficult to select the winners with all the excellent nom-
inees we receive. The winners are always excited to be acknowledged for the hard work and when the prominent award
sign is placed on the winning properties it reinforces the value that is placed by the City of Brecksville on maintaining its
charming look and appeal,” said Jennifer Starinsky, Chair of the Beautification Awards.
The Brecksville Beautification Committee is comprised of a group of volunteers who coordinate numerous programs throughout the year that
enhance the city’s appearance. From Earth Day through the holidays they are responsible for educational seminars, renovation projects, and festive
looks to brighten the town.
