                                          Keynote Speaker:
Dr. Wendell Jones, Senior Advisor, Global Equations – Dr. Jones most recently was CEO of Outsourcing
Advisors International which was affiliated with Michael Corbett & Associates. He is a senior executive with
30 years of management experience in the outsourcing industry. Dr. Jones was formerly the Vice President of
Compaq Computers, where he managed a worldwide outsourcing service delivery with 2,400 IT
professionals. Further, as Senior Vice President of Technology Services at Nasdaq Stock Market, Dr. Jones
managed selective onshore and offshore outsourcing projects. He has also led the evaluation, negotiation,
and management of a US $3-billion, 10-year IT outsourcing agreement at McDonnell Douglas.


Dr. Jones recent clients include Michigan State Housing Development Authority, Parkland Health and
Hospital System, Getty Trust and Museum, ABN AMRO (London), American University, Xerox, and World
Bank.
Speakers

Umesh Jain, Partner, SourcePoint Partners. Umesh is an authority in the areas of contact centers, CRM
and domestic and global outsourcing. Over the last 10 years he has helped some of the leading Fortune 100 and
large enterprises in these areas including American Express, ACE Insurance, Paymentech, CheckFree
Corporation, FedEx, among others. He brings experience in setting up outsourcing services through partners in
the U.S., Latin America, India, Philippines and the U.K. He is a frequent conference speaker and a part-time
lecturer at the University of Miami.


Anupam Govil, CEO, Global Equations. Anupam has spent over 14 years in the outsourcing industry in
diverse roles ranging from strategy and technology consulting to venture investments, business development and
executive management. He is the Founder and CEO of Global Equations Inc, a consulting firm providing
strategy, advisory and sourcing services to Global 2000 companies on offshore outsourcing, strategic alliances,
joint ventures and cross-border M&A. He has advised several Offshore BPO and IT Services companies,
developing strategies for US market penetration, strategic investments, M&A and business alliances. Previously,
with 2i Capital and iGate Ventures, he focused on investments in enterprise software and software services
companies.


Daniel Lang, Senior Vice President, Global Market Development, Sutherland Group. Dan has
been with Sutherland for over 15 years. He leads the Company's sales, marketing, communications, and client
services organizations, responsible for the strategic planning and ongoing activity for business development.
Dan is chartered to drive new business initiatives and to optimize the retention and growth of Sutherland's
current clients. He has been instrumental in the evolution of Sutherland's business and technology solutions
portfolio. Dan has significant business engineering experience, and an expert understanding of customer
management, business strategy and applied technology. He is a member of the regional Workforce Investment
Board. Prior to joining Sutherland, he worked for the Xerox Corporation in a sales capacity. Dan studied
industrial design at the Rochester Institute of Technology and did graduate work at Syracuse University's School
of Information Systems.


Kinsey Haffner, Partner, Pillsbury Winthrop LLP. For over 25 years Kinsey has advised and represented
corporate and technology clients on the interface between business and technology. He negotiates outsourcing
agreements, contracts and licenses, professional services and other software custom development agreements,
distribution and co-promotion arrangements, hosting arrangements, Web design agreements, ASP contracts, and
OEM manufacturing agreements. He also advises clients on technology related aspects of mergers and
acquisitions, business structuring, licensing and other forms of technology transfers, and protection of
intellectual property and confidential information.


Mark Riedy, Partner, Pillsbury Winthrop LLP. Mark is recognized as one of the nation's foremost
attorneys who represents clients between Asia, and particularly South Asia (e.g., India and Pakistan), and the
United States. In over 24 years of practice, Mr. Riedy has represented both domestic and international clients in
negotiating and drafting outsourcing agreement, project development and debt and equity financing contracts,
and in general corporate (e.g., acquisitions, mergers, private placements, establishment of new entities), tax,
international (e.g., import duty classification/export licensing), regulatory and legislative issues.

This Executive Workshop is a one-day event aimed at providing a snapshot of offshore outsourcing trends, strategies and
deal structures within the industry. The December 9, 2003 workshop will focus on offshore business process outsourcing in

                             Dr. Wendell Jones, an industry veteran will present on the current state of offshore BPO
                             outsourcing in the insurance industry
    9:45 – 10:30 am          Strategic Outsourcing
                             Using the 3C Model from SourcePoint to answer key questions like: When do you need to consider
                             outsourcing your contact center and business processes? How does the outsourcing strategy
                             integrate with the overall strategy of the organization? Is outsourcing financially and strategically
                             viable for my organization? These and other similar questions around the strategic nature of
                             outsourcing will be presented during this session.

    10:45- 11:45 am          The Sourcing Strategy Roadmap
                             Outsourcing is a complex decision. From the early stages of identifying which functions to
                             outsource all the way to selecting the best partner, transitioning the functions and managing the
                             relationship. This session will focus on ways to streamline and successfully execute the sourcing
                             strategy process.
    11:45 - 12:30 pm         The Legal Side of Outsourcing
                             Outsourcing in itself is a major step for most companies, but when one looks at outsourcing to
                             near-shore and off-shore organizations, the legalities of structuring the relationship become very
                             critical. During this session, top legal experts in the field of outsourcing will provide their insight
                             into the legal issues and considerations around outsourcing.

    1:30 - 2:15 pm           The India Option: Executing on the Vision
                             India has emerged as the destination of choice for a number of US and European corporations
                             over the last two decades. This session will focus on helping insurers understand the current

                             Case studies presenting the key mistakes typically made by companies when pursuing an
