FROM THE DESK OF MAYOR CHARLES ELLIS

Fellow citizens of Greendale, we have arrived at the end of yet another year that has
been most eventful for all to see. As we take the time to celebrate the holidays with our
dear family and friends, let us not forget those that were special in our lives that were
not able to see it with us. Please remember that life in itself is a gift from God, and we
must use it to the fullest extent possible. Have a Merry Christmas and I hope to see you
in 2010!!
CLEANING FOR A REASON

Fighting cancer is difficult enough, but living with it is even tougher - and that's where
the Cleaning for A Reason Foundation steps in. This nonprofit organization partners
with local cleaning businesses to offer free professional housecleaning and maid
services over a four-month period. This program is available to women that are
undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment or are in hospice care for cancer. For
more information or to register for this free service, log on to
www.cleaningforareason.org.
