                                                                                                    On April 3, Salamatu Mohammed

                                                                                                Salamatu explained that she learned the art of
                                                                                                storytelling from her maternal grandmother
                                                                                                in Ghana. “Every time I would ask her a
                                                                                                question, instead of answering the question,
                                                                                                she would tell me a story.”

                                                                                                a storyteller, encouraged her to perfect her
                                                                                                craft by participating in weekly storytelling
