4. First Aid Measurements
First aid – Inhalation Supply fresh air.
First aid – Skin contact Wipe off and flush with soap and water.
First aid – Eye contact Rinse with water.
First aid – Ingestion Rinse mouth with water.
5. Fire Fighting Measurements
Extinguishing media Carbon dioxide, foam, dry powder or fine water spray. Water can
be used to cool fire exposed containers.
Protective equipment for fire fighting A self-contained respirator and protective clothing should be
worn. Keep containers cool with water spray until well after the
fire is out. Determine the need to evacuate or isolate the area
according to your local emergency plan.
Hazardous combustion products Carbon oxides and traces of incompletely burned carbon
compounds. Formaldehyde. Phosphorus products. Sulphur
products.
Cleaning up Scrape up and place in a container fitted with a lid.
6. Procedure in case of accidental release
Personal precautions Wear proper protective equipment.
Environmental precautions Do not allow large quantities to enter drains or surface waters.
Spillage Scrape up and place in a container fitted with a lid. The spilled
product produces an extremely slippery surface.

Handling General ventilation is recommended. Local ventilation is
recommended. Avoid skin and eye contact.
Storage Do not store with oxidizing agents. Keep container closed and
store away from water or moisture.

Respiratory protection Suitable respiratory protection should be worn if the product is
used in large quantities, confined spaces or in other
circumstances where the exposure limits may be approached or
exceeded.
A full mask is recommended with filter type AB.
Hand protection Chemical protective gloves should be worn where repeated or
prolonged contact can occur: Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), silver
shield(TM), 4H(TM). Regarding glove's breakthrough time,
contact your chemical protective glove supplier.
Eye protection Safety glasses should be worn.
Skin protection Protective equipment is not normally necessary.
Hygiene measures Exercise good industrial hygiene practice. Wash after handling,
especially before eating, drinking or smoking.
