									Marketing & Recording Intern – EMI Classics

                Senior Manager, A&R Recordings

Overview: EMI Classics require an eager individual who is willing to immerse themselves in
the world of Classical Music through this great opportunity to gain experience working a dual
role in the areas of Catalogue Development/Marketing and A&R Recording. This role will
have duties split between two departments with reporting lines to reflect this. This is a great
introductory role for an individual keen to get into either the field of A&R or Product

Example tasks:

    Aiding the Catalogue Manager in the product development and production process
     including release schedule tracking, co-ordination of assets and production elements
    Aiding the Catalogue Manager in communicating with local markets, external
     agencies and consultants to help manage content and information flow
    Helping to track progress and compile reports on large scale social media activities
    Conducting research and aiding in the development of make-up orders for
     compilation product
    Helping to develop and format presentations and reports for internal and external
    Administrative duties including booking couriers, filing, library management and
     database queries.

    General support including booking travel and arranging itineraries for artists, A&R
      team and other third parties
    Filing and administrative duties
    Other duties as directed by Senior Manager, A&R Recordings

Skills Required:
MS Office
MS Powerpoint
Keen user of Social Media
Basic understanding of Classical repertoire
