of the Digital Video which was explored by the union, consisting of SONY,
Panasonic, Victory, Sharp, Toshiba and Cannon etc. However, DV represents

Video Camera</a>. Nowadays, the DV has become the necessities of our
daily life, however, do you know about the development history of it?</p>
<p>This first Digital Video Camera was born in 1995, up to now, it is 15
years old. Up to 2008, it has experience a huge change, the storage
medium has changed into hard disk from DV and DVD, the pixel has changed
into 0.8 m form 4 m, and the quality of image has changed into HDV from
DV. All of the changes happened within the 13 years.</p>
<p><strong>In 1995, the first Digital Video Camera was born.</strong></p>
<p>In July, 1995, the Sony Company launched the first Digital Video
Camera DCR-VX1000. It attracted all of the attention from different
areas. It was widely adopted by the TV new reporter and producer around
the world. The first Digital Video Camera adopted Mini-DV tape and 3CCD
transducer. It has the function of 10 times optical zoon. And it was
installed with the Optical anti-quake System. The price of the first
Digital Video Camera is about $4000. The DCR-VX1000 is one of the
important changes on the history of image. Since then, the DV began to
enter into the digital era.</p>
<p><strong>In 2000, the first DVD camera was born</strong>.</p>
<p>In August 2000, Hitachi Company introduced the first DVD camera DZ-
MV100. At that time, this camera just can record through DVD-RAM, while
the Hitachi Company first introduced the DVD into the Digital Video
Camera as the storage medium. They adopted 8cm DVE-RAM DVD-R as the
storage medium and got red of the inconvenience caused by DV tape. It is
an important renovation from the introduction of DCR-VX1000.
Unfortunately, the camera did not attract the attention from other people
successfully; so that it just sold in Japan. And the customer knew about
the DVD camera from SNOY three years later.</p>
<p><strong>In 2004, the first Micro-drive video camera was
born.</strong></p>
<p>In September 2004, JVC launched the first batch 1x inch Micro-drive
video camera MC200 and MC100. Then the hard risk began to enter into the
consumer Digital Camera era. The capacity of the two cameras is 4GB. It
adopts MPEG-2 to compress the video image. The user can set the
compression ratio to prolong the time. Until, JVC launched Everio G with
1.8 inch; its maximum capacity reached 30GB. However, the price is not
higher than others.</p>
<p><strong>In 2004, the first HDV 1080i high-definition video camera was
born</strong>.</p>
<p>In September 2003, SONY united Canon, sharp and the JVC formulated the
high-definition video standard HDV. In September 2004, SNOY launched the
first high-definition camera HDV 1080i. The recording resolution ratio
reached 1440×1080, and the horizontal scanning line is the double times
of DVD. Besides, the definition has been improved revolutionarily. The
HDV 1080i plays an important transition role on the popularities of HDV
