					            Cheerleading Parent Information/Price List
This contains very important information for all of you to review if you are considering trying out
for the position of cheerleader at Woodridge High School.

Important Dates: It is important for the student to be available on these dates. Permission
must be obtained from the coach in advance if the student cannot fulfill this obligation.

Tryout Clinic: April 11th thru April 14th. We added Wednesdays practice for those in track. If
you are on the track team, you will tryout Thursday night.

Tryouts: April 15th @ 6:00 promptly (warm up and review starting at 5:30).

First meeting/Camp wear sizing: April 20th, 6:00pm in the cafeteria (mandatory, we can’t
guarantee you will get your correct sizes unless you attend). YOUR FIRST INSTALLMENT IS
DUE AT THIS TIME, WHICH IS THE DEPOSIT FOR CAMP AND CAMPWEAR. ($130.00)
This meeting is also important because we will be reviewing schedules, rules, expectations and
answering any questions you may have.

Summer Camp: July 14th-17th at The University of Akron (MANDATORY!!!)

Costs: We will be conducting fundraising events to help offset the following costs, but each
cheerleader will be responsible for all costs associated with being a member of the cheerleading
squad. The costs shown below are approximate. After your initial payment in April, we will
divide your remaining amount over May and June, and update any credits from fundraising along
the way.

The fundraising planned so far:

•       Selling bulldog paws to be painted down the drive to the field; $10 profit per paw.
•       Applebee’s Dine to Donate
•       Spring Flower sale
•       Carwashes

The booster club gets 10% of all fundraising.

Summer Camp: $285.00 per cheerleader (4 day camp)

              $105.00 (camp wear)
              $58.00 (warm up pants only, we provide the jackets. You are responsible for
              replacing the jacket if it goes missing or is damaged in any way: $115.00 + shipping)
              $ 40.00 (Bag)
              $ 55.00 (Shoes)
              $ 13.00 (Briefs)
              $ 12.00 (poncho)

Socks: GO TO WALMART  Plain white ankle socks please!

IF YOU ARE NOT PAID UP BY CAMP, YOU CANNOT ATTEND, THEREFORE YOU
WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE. WE WILL NO LONGER BE OK WITH
GETTING MONEY AFTER CAMP.
