					                                   TENDER NOTICE

       Sealed tenders are invited from reputable Vendors/Suppliers for the supply of
different furniture items for different faculties/departments/offices of International
Islamic University, Islamabad (IIU) at H-10, New Campus, Islamabad.
2.     Specifications of furniture items and their quantity is available in tender documents
which will be provided by the office of Purchase & Stores Section, Room # 108, 1st floor,
Admin. Block, IIU, New Campus, H-10 Sector, Islamabad on cash payment of Rs.200/- as
tender fee (non-refundable) to be deposited with Cashier, IIUI during office hours from
08:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on any working day except Friday. Tender documents can be
collected from the date of publication of tender notice till 15-9-2009.

3.      Tenders valid for a period of 03 months on F.O.R. basis along-with earnest money
@ 2% of the total value of tender (refundable) in the shape of Call Deposit/Bank Draft in the
name of International Islamic University, Islamabad, must reach the undersigned in Purchase
& Store Section, Room # 108, 1st floor, Admin. Block, IIU, New Campus, H-10 Sector,
Islamabad on or before 16-9-2009 at 10:00 a.m. which will be opened on the
same date at 10:30 a.m. in presence of the bidders/their representatives who my like to
attend the opening ceremony. The quantity of items can be increased/decreased. The GST
Registration No. issued by the Sales Tax Department must be mentioned in the bid,
otherwise, tender shall not be considered. Price quoted must clearly show whether it is
inclusive or exclusive of General Sales Tax. Tenders without required earnest money or for
lesser amount will be rejected as non responsive.

4.      The University reserves the right to accept any or reject all tenders in terms of
Section-33 of PPRA rules, 2004.
