Check+® Card and a Personal Identification Number
(APIN@) are required to initiate ATM, PIN-POS, and FTT

limited transactions only (ALimited Function CuCard@). A
Limited-Function CuCard may be used in the same manner
as a regular CuCard except as may be otherwise specified in
this Electronic Fund Transfer Disclosure document. CEFCU
will advise a member in writing that the member=s CuCard
is a Limited-Function CuCard at the time the Limited-
Function CuCard is issued; or if CEFCU determines to
change a member=s CuCard to a Limited-Function CuCard,

a CEFCU Checking account. In addition, a member must
participate in the CEFCU On-Line program in order to
participate in CEFCU=s Bill Pay program.
A PIN and a touchtone telephone are required to initiate
Touch-Tone Teller transactions.
Members can also arrange for direct deposit of net pay,
pension, and federal recurring payments — Social Security,
Veterans Administration, etc. — and for automatic recurring

institution other than CEFCU that participates in the
NYCE Network to transfer funds up to the lesser of the

   CEFCU Savings or Checking.
In addition, your CEFCU Savings or Checking may be
credited by a transfer initiated at a NYCE-shared ATM by
a cardholder who maintains an account at another financial
institution that participates in the NYCE-shared ATM
Network, using an access card and PIN issued by that other
financial institution and your CuCard or Check+ Card
number.
You may use your CEFCU Visa Credit Card and PIN to

You may use your CEFCU Check+ Card and PIN at Visa
Network ATMs to withdraw cash from your Checking. On
any one calendar day the amount of any such withdrawal shall

24 Network ATMs, Cirrus Network ATMs, NYCE Network

however, grant you a maximum withdrawal limit greater than
Two Hundred Dollars ($200), but not more than the amount
in your Checking, and if a greater maximum withdrawal
limit is granted, CEFCU will provide written confirmation of
that limit to you. Furthermore, if CEFCU grants you a higher
withdrawal limit, CEFCU may periodically re-evaluate the
amount of that limit.  If, at CEFCU’s sole discretion, it is
determined that your limit should be decreased, CEFCU
will provide you written notice that your withdrawal limit is
being decreased and the effective date of that decrease.
You may use your CEFCU Visa Credit Card and PIN to
withdraw cash at Visa Network ATMs, as a cash advance on
the Credit Card, subject to the terms and provisions of the
Credit Card agreement. On any one calendar day the amount
of any such withdrawals shall not exceed the lesser of the

                             5
amount of your available authorized credit line or Three
Hundred Dollars ($300).
For purposes of transfer of funds from your Credit Card
account, every day is a banking day except days our offices
are not open.
You are limited in the amount of cash you may withdraw
from your Savings, Checking, or IMMA with your CuCard,
CEFCU Visa Credit Card, and CEFCU Check+ Card and
PIN at ATMs on any one calendar day to the lesser of

CEFCU may, however, grant you a maximum withdrawal
limit greater than Two Hundred Dollars ($200), but not
more than the amount in your Savings, Checking, or IMMA;
and if a greater maximum withdrawal limit is granted,
CEFCU will provide written confirmation of that limit to
you. Furthermore, if CEFCU grants you a higher withdrawal
limit, CEFCU may periodically re-evaluate the amount of
that limit.  If at CEFCU’s sole discretion it is determined that
your limit should be decreased, CEFCU will provide you
written notice that your withdrawal limit is being decreased
and the effective date of that decrease.
You may purchase up to the lesser of the amount in your
Checking or Five Hundred Dollars ($500) worth of goods
and services on any one calendar day using your CuCard or
CEFCU Check+ Card and PIN in the PIN-POS Program.

on purchases greater than Five Hundred Dollars ($500),
but not more than the amount in your Checking; and if a
greater maximum dollar limit on purchases is granted,
CEFCU will provide written confirmation of that limit to
If you perform a PIN-
POS transaction at a merchant that allows cash back, the
amount you receive in cash back will be part of that calendar-
day limit.

                               6
You are limited in the number of combined ATM Program
and PIN-POS Program transactions you may initiate on any
one calendar day at ATMs and PIN-POS terminals to ninety-
nine (99).
If you initiate a transaction on your CEFCU Visa Credit
Card at a non-Money Center 24 Network ATM, and that
transaction involves a statewide, multi-statewide, nationwide,
multi-national, or worldwide ATM network switch, CEFCU
will charge you a Non-Money Center 24 Network ATM
Withdrawal/Transfer/Balance Inquiry fee as set forth in
CEFCU’s Truth-in-Savings Rate Schedule (Rate Schedule)
per transaction. When you use an ATM, other than a Money
Center 24 ATM or a CO-OP Network ATM, you may be
charged a fee by the ATM operator or any network used, and
you may be charged a fee for a balance inquiry even if you
do not complete a funds transfer. Also, if you have requested
the Overdraft Transfer Plan for your ATM and PIN-POS
transactions, and CEFCU has approved your participation in
that plan, and you initiate an ATM or PIN-POS transaction
that triggers the plan, CEFCU will charge you an Overdraft
Transfer Fee (Overdraft Transfer Fee) as set forth in CEFCU’s
Rate Schedule to complete the transaction. In addition, if you
have elected to participate in CEFCU’s Optional Overdraft
Protection for ATM Withdrawals and One-Time Debit Card
Transactions, pursuant to which CEFCU may complete ATM
or PIN-POS transactions that would otherwise overdraw
your account leaving the account with a negative balance, and
you initiate an ATM or PIN-POS transaction that triggers
the plan, CEFCU will charge you an Overdraft Fee as set
forth in CEFCU’s Rate Schedule to complete the transaction.
Except for the transaction fee that CEFCU will charge you
for transactions you initiate at a Non-Money Center 24
Network ATM, the Overdraft Transfer Fee, if you participate
in the Overdraft Transfer Plan, and the Overdraft Fee, if you
participate in the Optional Overdraft Protection for ATM
Withdrawals and One-Time Debit Card Transactions, there is
no charge imposed by CEFCU on the electronic fund transfers
you make using your CuCard, CEFCU Visa Credit Card, or
CEFCU Check+ Card at an ATM or a PIN-POS terminal; and
there is no charge imposed by CEFCU on your right to make
electronic fund transfers using your CuCard, CEFCU Visa
Credit Card, or CEFCU Check+ Card at an ATM or PIN-POS
terminal.
In addition, if the transaction involves a multi-national or
worldwide ATM network switch and involves a currency
other than U.S. Dollars, the transaction will also be subject

                              7
to a Cirrus Currency Conversion Fee equal to 20 basis points
(.20%) of the U.S. Dollar transaction amount and a Cirrus
International Assessment Fee equal to 80 basis points (.80%)
of the U.S. Dollar amount.

If you use your CuCard, CEFCU Visa Credit Card, or CEFCU
Check+ Card to initiate a cash withdrawal or cash advance
in a currency other than U.S. Dollars, the transaction will
be converted to U.S. Dollars, generally using either (1) a
government-mandated rate or (2) a wholesale market rate
in effect the day before the transaction processing date. The
currency conversion rate used on the processing date may
differ from the rate in effect at the time of the transaction or
on the date the transaction is posted to the account.
You can get a receipt at the time you make any transfer to
or from your CEFCU account using a Money Center 24
Network ATM, a Cirrus Network ATM, a Visa Network
ATM, a CO-OP Network ATM, or a PIN-POS terminal;
however, you may not get a receipt if the transfer is Fifteen
Dollars ($15) or less.
CEFCU reserves the right to revoke your right to perform
electronic fund transfer transactions using your CuCard,
CEFCU Visa Credit Card, or CEFCU Check+ Card.
You may not use your CuCard, CEFCU Visa Credit Card, or
CEFCU Check+ Card to initiate transfers to or from your My
Use Savings account through the ATM Program or the PIN-
POS Program nor to determine the balance in your My Use
Savings account.
Debit Program/Signature-POS Program
You may use your CEFCU Check+ Card at Signature-POS
terminals or card imprint machines at merchants that
participate in the Visa Debit Card Program; or you may,
subject to the merchant=s verification policies, communicate
by telephone or written order your CEFCU Check+ Card
number to merchants that participate in the Visa Debit
Card Program to (a) pay for purchases or (b) subject to
the merchant=s refund policies obtain, as a credit to your
Checking, a refund of a prior purchase from that merchant
made as an electronic fund debit to that account; or you may
use your CEFCU Check+ Card at financial institutions that
participate in the Visa Debit Card Program to withdraw cash
from your Checking (ADebit Program Transactions@).
The merchant or financial institution will ask you to sign
an authorization form for Signature-POS and card imprint

                               8
Debit Program Transactions.

All Debit Program Transactions will represent a transfer
from or to your Checking.
For purposes of Debit Program Transactions, every day is a
banking day except days CEFCU offices are not open.
You are limited in the amount of Debit Program Transactions
you may initiate using your CEFCU Check+ Card on any one
calendar day to the lesser of Five Hundred Dollars ($500)
or the amount in your Checking reduced in each instance
by the amount of Debit Program Transactions you have
initiated on the two calendar days immediately preceding the
calendar day on which you seek to initiate a Debit Program
Transaction. CEFCU may, however, grant you a maximum
dollar limit on purchases greater than Five Hundred Dollars
($500) but not more than the amount in your Checking, and
if a greater maximum dollar limit on purchases is granted,
CEFCU will provide written confirmation of that limit to
If you perform a PIN-
POS transaction at a merchant that allows cash back, the
amount you receive in cash back will be part of that calendar-
day limit.

There is no limit on the number of Debit Program
Transactions you may initiate each day.

If you have requested the Overdraft Transfer Plan for your
Debit Program Transactions, and CEFCU has approved your
participation in that plan, and you initiate a Debit Program
Transaction that triggers the plan, CEFCU will charge you an
Overdraft Transfer Fee as set forth in CEFCU’s Rate Schedule
to complete the transaction. In addition, if you have elected
to participate in CEFCU’s Optional Overdraft Protection for
ATM Withdrawals and One-Time Debit Card Transactions,
and you initiate a Debit Program Transaction that triggers
the plan, CEFCU will charge you an Overdraft Fee as set
forth in CEFCU’s Rate Schedule to complete the transaction.
Except for the Overdraft Transfer Fee, if you participate in
the Overdraft Transfer Plan, and the Overdraft Fee, if you
participate in the Optional Overdraft Protection for ATM
Withdrawals and One-Time Debit Card Transactions, there
is no charge imposed by CEFCU on the Debit Program

                               9
Transactions you make using your CEFCU Check+ Card;
and there is no charge imposed by CEFCU on your right
to make Debit Program Transactions using your CEFCU
Check+ Card.
If you use your CEFCU Check+ Card to initiate a Debit
Program Transaction at a merchant location in a currency
other than U.S. Dollars, the transaction will be converted
to U.S. Dollars, generally using either (1) a government-
mandated rate or (2) a wholesale market rate in effect the
day before the transaction processing date. The currency
conversion rate used on the processing date may differ from
the rate in effect at the time of the transaction or on the
date the transaction is posted to the account. A merchant at
which a Debit Program Transaction is initiated in a currency
other than U.S. Dollars may impose a 1% fee. That 1% fee
will be added to the transaction and debited from your
Checking account. In addition, if the merchant subsequently
gives a credit as a Debit Program Transaction, the merchant
may again impose a 1% fee that would be debited from your
Checking account. If the credit is given for such a transaction,
the conversion rate applicable to the credit may be greater or
lesser than the conversion rate for the original transaction.

You may not initiate a Debit Program Transaction that
constitutes an Internet gambling transaction nor any
transaction for any illegal purpose.

You can get a receipt at the time you make a Debit Program
Transaction at a Signature-POS terminal or card imprint
machine at merchants that participate in the Visa Debit Card
Program; however, you may not get a receipt if the transfer is
Fifteen Dollars ($15) or less.

CEFCU reserves the right to revoke your CEFCU Check+
Card.

When you use your CEFCU Check+ Card at Signature-
POS terminals or card imprint machines at merchants
that participate in the Visa Debit Card Program, or you
communicate by telephone or written order your CEFCU
Check+ Card number to merchants that participate in the
Visa Debit Card Program to initiate transactions, CEFCU
does not require that such transactions be authenticated by a
PIN. The merchant may enable such a transaction either by
Visa or by a non-Visa debit network. CEFCU, as the issuer
of your CEFCU Check+ Card, permits such a transaction
to be enabled either by Visa or by NYCE, a debit network
authorized by CEFCU to enable any such transaction.

                              10
If you want the transaction to be enabled as a Visa
transaction, you must inform the merchant when you initiate
the transaction. If you do not inform the merchant when you
initiate the transaction that you want it enabled as a Visa
transaction, it will be enabled as the merchant determines;
and that may be as a Visa transaction or as a non-Visa
transaction and if enabled as a non-Visa transaction, it will
not be governed by any provisions that are applicable only to
Visa transactions.
Direct Debit Bill Payment Transaction Program
You may use your CuCard or CEFCU Check+ Card number
with NYCE-participating billers and merchants to make
certain bill payments to the NYCE-participating biller or
merchant by communicating that number to the NYCE-
participating biller or merchant in person, by telephone,
mailed written communication, or at the biller=s or
merchant=s website to initiate a transfer from your Savings or
Checking to make the payment.
All Direct Debit Bill Pay transactions will represent a transfer
from your Savings or Checking.
You are limited in the amount you may transfer from
your Savings or Checking to make Direct Debit Bill Pay
transactions on any one calendar day to the lesser of (i) the
amount in your Savings or Checking or (ii) Five Thousand
Dollars ($5,000).
There is no limit on the number of Direct Debit Bill Payment
transactions you may initiate each day.
If you have requested the Overdraft Transfer Plan for Direct
Debit Bill Pay Transactions and CEFCU has approved your
participation in that plan, and you initiate a Direct Debit Bill
Pay Transaction that triggers the plan, CEFCU will charge
you an Overdraft Transfer Fee as set forth in CEFCU’s Rate
Schedule to complete the transaction. In addition, if you
have elected to participate in CEFCU’s Optional Overdraft
Protection for ATM Withdrawals and One-Time Debit
Card Transactions, and you initiate a Direct Debit Bill Pay
Transaction that triggers the plan, CEFCU will charge you
an Overdraft Fee as set forth in CEFCU’s Rate Schedule to
complete the transaction. Except for the Overdraft Transfer
Fee, if you participate in the Overdraft Transfer Plan, and the
Overdraft Fee, if you participate in the Optional Overdraft
Protection for ATM Withdrawals and One-Time Debit Card
Transactions, there is no charge imposed by CEFCU on the
Direct Debit Bill Pay Transactions you make and there is no

                              11
charge imposed by CEFCU on your right to make Direct
Debit Bill Pay Transactions.
CEFCU reserves the right to revoke your ability to perform
Direct Debit Bill Payment transactions.
When you communicate your CEFCU Check+ Card number
to merchants that participate in the Visa Debit Card Program
to initiate transactions, CEFCU does not require that such
transactions be authenticated by a PIN. The merchant may
enable such a transaction either by Visa or by a non-Visa
debit network. CEFCU, as the issuer of your CEFCU Check+
Card, permits such a transaction to be enabled either by Visa
or by NYCE, a debit network authorized by CEFCU to enable
any such transaction.
If you want the transaction to be enabled as a Visa transaction,
you must inform the merchant when you initiate the
transaction. If you do not inform the merchant when you
initiate the transaction that you want it enabled as a Visa
transaction, it will be enabled as the merchant determines,
and that may be as a Visa transaction or as a non-Visa
transaction and if enabled as a non-Visa transaction, it will
not be governed by any provisions that are applicable only to
Visa transactions.

set forth in CEFCU=s Rate Schedule.
If you initiate a stop payment request and you give CEFCU

be responsible for failing to stop payment on the item. A
stop payment order is effective for six (6) months or until

payment order on CEFCU On-Line, or in writing to
CEFCU.
You may not request a stop payment order on any certified
check, cashier=s check, or any other check, draft, or payment

CEFCU Bill Payment Transaction Program
You may use your User ID, Password, and a personal
computer or other Internet access device and modem with
browser software that supports SSL, and is 128-bit encryption
(cipher level) enabled to:
(a) initiate payment of many of your bills by accessing your
    Checking; or
(b) schedule the date or dates on which you want to pay many
of your bills by accessing your Checking.
You are limited in the number of payees whom you may pay
accessing your Checking using Bill Pay to forty five (45). You
must provide sufficient information concerning each such
payee and your account with that payee to permit direct
payment to that payee and to permit that payee to credit the
payment to your account with that payee. The information
may include the name of the payee, a mailing address for that
payee that can be verified, and your account number with
that payee.
Each Bill Pay payment must be solely in U.S. Dollars.
You may initiate Bill Pay payments only to (a), payees that
are (i) individuals, merchants, commercial businesses,
professional businesses, and similar enterprises, located in the
United States of America, provided that a collection agency
does not represent an eligible payee, and (ii) governmental
units located in the United States of America but only when
being paid for utility services provided by that governmental
unit ((i) and (ii) collectively are AEligible Payee@) and (b)
payees whose mailing address is in a United States Armed
Forces Postal Code. Except as noted at (ii) in the preceding
sentence, no federal, state or local governmental unit, agency
or commission is an Eligible Payee, nor are (a) persons or
entities designated by court order to receive payments, such
as, but not limited to, court-ordered alimony, child support
or fines, nor (b) any payee located outside of the United
States of America.
You are limited in the amount you may use to pay your bills
using Bill Pay on any one calendar day to the lesser of the
amount in your Checking or Nine Hundred Ninety-nine
Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-nine Dollars and Ninety-
nine cents ($999,999.99).
Any payment direction you may make in the Bill Pay program
that exceeds any of the Bill Pay program limitations or that
exceeds the amount in your Checking will not be honored.

                              20
For bill payments that you initiate using Bill Pay, the funds
will be debited from your Checking on the initiation date you
schedule. Payments will be transmitted electronically to the
payee unless the payee does not accept electronic payments
in which event a check will be mailed to the payee.
You must select the date you want the payment to be initiated.
You will designate each transaction as a AToday@ transaction,
a AFuture@ transaction, or a ARecurring@ transaction. The
following apply to the payment designation date you select:
• If you designate a transaction as a AToday@ transaction,
there must be sufficient funds in your Checking at the
time you initiate the AToday@ transaction. The debit to
your Checking will occur at the end of the Bill Pay session
in which you initiate the transaction. If that is at 8:00 p.m.
or earlier (CT) on Monday through Friday, or 5:00 p.m.
or earlier (CT) on Saturday, the debit to your Checking
will occur the day you initiate the transaction. If that is
after 8:00 p.m. (CT) on Monday through Friday or after
5:00 p.m. (CT) on Saturday, the debit from your Checking
will occur early the next business day (morning). You
may not cancel a AToday@ transaction after you end the
Bill Pay session in which you initiate the transaction.
• If	you	designate	a	transaction	as	a	AFuture@ transaction,
you will designate a specific future date within the next
three hundred sixty-four (364) days for the transaction
to occur. On the day before the designated AFuture@ date,
there must be sufficient funds in your Checking at 8:00
p.m. (CT) if that day is a Monday through Friday, or at
5:00 p.m. (CT) if that day is a Saturday. The debit from
your Checking will occur on the designated AFuture@
date. You may cancel or change a AFuture@ date only by
using Bill Pay and only if cancelled or changed prior
to Midnight (CT) immediately before the designated
   AFuture@ date.
• If you designate a transaction as a ARecurring@
transaction, you will designate a date occurring on a
regular interval, e.g., weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and
you will designate when the ARecurring@ transaction
payments are to begin and are to end. On the day before
the designated ARecurring@ date, there must be sufficient
funds in your Checking at 8:00 p.m. (CT) if that day is
a Monday through Friday, or 5:00 p.m. (CT) if that day
is a Saturday. The debit from your Checking will occur
on the designated ARecurring@ date. You may cancel or
change a ARecurring@ date only by using Bill Pay and

                               21
only if cancelled or changed prior to Midnight (CT)
immediately before the designated ARecurring@ date.
The day the payment is debited from your Checking is the
day the payment process to the payee will start. You should
expect an electronic payment to a payee to take two (2)
business days after the designated payment date before it is
received by the payee and you should expect a payment check
to be sent by United States Postal Service to take five (5)
business days after the designated payment date before it is
received by the payee. You must consider these time periods,
as well as expected mail delivery time by the United States
Postal Service respecting a payment check, when selecting
the payment date you designate. You must allow sufficient
time both to process the payment and to permit transmittal
of an electronic payment or delivery of a payment check to
the payee in order to achieve payment on or before the due
date for the payment.
Any bill payment submitted by check that remains uncashed
by the payee after ninety (90) days will be refunded to your
Checking and payment details will be provided.
Except for Bill payments to a payee whose mailing address is
in a United States Armed Forces Postal Code, if you initiate a
Bill Pay payment to be delivered in sufficient time to the payee
on or before the due date, in accordance with the foregoing
guidelines, but the payment is not received and posted by
the payee on or before the due date, CEFCU will attempt to
have any late fees or assessed finance charges attributable to
the non-timely receipt and posting of the payment waived
by the payee. If the payee is unwilling or unable to waive the
late fees or assessed finance charges, CEFCU will pay the late
fees and assessed finance charges directly to the payee and
information will be submitted with your account in an effort
to avoid any negative impact on your credit rating.
This commitment by CEFCU applies to late fees and/or
assessed finance charges (calculated based on your payment
amount) imposed as a consequence of the non-timely receipt
and posting of a Bill Pay payment, provided that all of the
following conditions apply:
1. With the sole exception of first mortgage loan payments,
the initiation date you selected permits processing and
transmission or delivery of the payment on or before the
due date, excluding any grace period. For first mortgage
loan payments, the initiation date you selected must be no
later than the due date, so long as transmission or delivery
of the payment to the first mortgage loan payee can be

                              22
completed prior to the expiration of any applicable grace
period. For example, if a first mortgage loan payment due
date is July 1, with a 15-day grace period, the initiation
date you select must be no later than July 1.
2. The payee must be an Eligible Payee.
3. The payment was not in settlement of a securities
transaction, to pay off special or delayed financing for
purchases, nor to a credit counseling agency that pays
   creditors on your behalf.
4. The payment did not fail due to debit failures.
5. The information you supplied is correct (payee=s name
and address, and your name and account number as it
   appears on the payee=s records).
6. The payment did not exceed Twenty-five Thousand
   Dollars ($25,000).
7. Your Checking had sufficient funds.
8. Payment was not to payoff special or delayed financing
   for purchases.
9. Payment was not made to credit counseling agencies who
   pay creditors on your behalf.
There is no charge imposed by CEFCU on the electronic
fund transfers you make using Bill Pay and there is no charge
imposed by CEFCU on your right to make electronic fund
transfers using Bill Pay.
You must participate in the CEFCU On-Line program in
order to participate in the Bill Pay program.
It is your responsibility to guard access to your Checking
through Bill Pay by keeping your User ID and Password
known to you alone. If you authorize another person to use
your User ID and Password, you are assuming total liability.
You also agree to notify CEFCU when you revoke that
authorization.
CEFCU reserves the right to revoke your right to participate
in the CEFCU Bill Pay Transaction Program.
