     Countrywide Launches 2007 Broker Clinics
     Following the success of Open GI’s 2006 Product Clinics, the Countrywide Network has launched
     a series of events for its 750 plus members.

     The one day free-of-charge Countrywide Clinics are designed to provide support and guidance on regulatory and
     technical issues.

     In 2006, over 500 brokers attended Open GI’s Product Clinics across the UK and Ireland, and similar high levels of
     attendance are expected at Countrywide’s events.

     The first Countrywide Clinic was held at Open GI’s Worcester Head-Office at the end of January. The day’s agenda
     included updates on Countrywide’s latest developments - Partner Broker and Countrywide Clubs - and a commercial
     presentation from leading insurance company Zurich. Insurance Compliance Services also gave guidance on Treating
     Customers Fairly, an area that Countrywide member research has identified as requiring further attention.

     Countrywide clinics are all about members forging closer relationships with strategic insurers to support mutual business
     growth. At the same time Countrywide are also offering free consultancy sessions around specific regulation issues.
     With the FSA having set a deadline of March 2007 for firms to have reached the “implementing” stage of their Treating
     Customers Fairly initiative, current clinics will include sessions that give practical advice to help members organise their
     business needs accordingly. Future clinics will focus on other regulatory issues, in line with the needs of brokers, and
     the FSA’s focus.

The Fortis Insurance Website is Relaunched
The original Fortis Insurance website was launched in October
2001 following the inception of the company.

In those days it was a small site containing limited information with simple
design, and no dynamic content or interactivity. Over the years the internet has
evolved considerably in terms of technologies, usage and perceptions, and the
Fortis website has also grown.

Following months of work behind the scenes the site was relaunched in the
new style of Fortis branding during December 2006. It’s aim is to increase the
ease of use and functionality, as well as conforming to Disability Discrimination
Act requirements and continuing to meet FSA and ICOB requirements.

Current tools such as the Commercial On-line Quote and Policy Documentation
for download will continue to exist. In addition browsers can search for their
nearest broker accurately, all their agents can access even more information
on the secure extranet pages and in the future there will be additional options
