BISSELL BARN
Bissell Barn is located in Bissell House County Park at 10225 Bellefontaine Road. It contains tables and
chairs, heating and air conditioning, a kitchen (refrigerator/sink, no stove), restrooms and outdoor patio.
The Barn’s capacity is 80 people.
The Bissell Barn may be reserved for any time period between 10:00am and 11:00pm on Sundays
through Thursdays and between 10:00am and 12:00pm midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
Specific fees will be based on the following criteria:
Private Citizen $70 per hour
Not for Profit $85 per hour
Commercial $97 per hour
When the permit holder arrives at site, they will be required to post a $100 security deposit payable by
check or money order. The employee and the permit holder will inspect the contents of the facility and
note the number of tables and chairs as well as the physical condition of the premises. Both parties will
then sign an inspection sheet.
In the event that a group is not out of the building by the designated time on the permit, a charge
of $25 per ½ hour will be withheld from security deposit.
Park personnel will keep the check in a secure area. After final inspection of the premises the security
deposit will be mailed within 3-5 business days, if there are no problems or damage to the facility. If a
problem is detected, park personnel will contact the permit holder.
If losses exceed $100, the permit holder will be billed for the balance of damages. If the check is held for
damages and the permit holder stops payment on the check, a $15 charge will be added to the damage
bill.
BISSELL BARN IS NOT RESERVABLE ON THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS EVE or NEW YEAR’S EVE
AFTER 5:00PM OR CHRISTMAS OR NEW YEARS DAY.
RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE AT LEAST 7 DAYS
IN ADVANCE OF THE INTENDED USE DATE
Payment for a reservation must be made at the time you make the reservation. You may call, up to one
full year in advance, 314-615-4386 to reserve by charge card or by bank debit card (no ATM cards). The
Department accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover. The Department will also accept checks, cash or
money orders presented in person at the following locations:

Upon acceptance of your payment, your reservation will be mailed immediately, along with a map of the
park.
Refunds/Date Changes – Any request received 60 days or more prior to the reservation date will
receive the entire amount less the $13 processing charge.
Cancellations made with less than 60 days and 30 or more days prior to the reservation date will
receive 50% of total reservation fee, less $13.00 processing charge.
There will be no refund or credit granted if a request is received less than 30 days prior to the
reservation date.
RESERVATIONS ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE AND MAY BE REVOKED OR CHANGED AT ANY TIME
AT THE DISCRETION OF THE DIRECTOR.
