Oklahoma State University Tenure Track Position in Public Administration The Department of Political Science invites applications for a tenure track faculty position specializing in Public Administration. The appointment will be for nine months with summer teaching possible. Rank is open and applicants may apply for appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level. The appointment will begin with the 20042005 academic year. Junior level applicants must have an earned Ph.D. by August 2004. Excellence in teaching and a commitment to scholarly research are required. The person hired will teach courses in the Department’s Master of Science in Fire and Emergency Management Administration as well as undergraduate courses in public administration and American government. Specific areas of teaching and research interests are open. Preference, however, will be given to candidates with: (1) teaching interests in the areas of program evaluation and basic and applied research methods and; (2) research interests related to the management and administration of emergency and fire services. Oklahoma State University is the state’s comprehensive land grant university with a student population of approximately 23,000.
