Contract for child to manage parent's business. This agreement is made _________, 19__, between _________, of _________, referred to as child and _________, of _________, referred to as parent. 1. The parties are father [mother] and [daughter] son. 2. Parent, advanced in years, desires the services of child to manage the business and properties during the remainder of his [her] life, until final distribution of the estate of parent has been made, upon the following terms and conditions. 3. Child is now employed at a salary of _________ dollars per month, and cannot afford to relinquish employment without assurance of employment as is provided here. This agreement is predicated upon relinquishment by child of his [her] present employment and upon employment, as set out here. 4. In consideration of the above, parent agrees to employ child and child agrees to accept employment, for a period of time commencing _________ day of _________, 19__, and ending with the final distribution of the estate of the parent, as set forth above at a monthly salary of _________ dollars, payable monthly. 5. In consideration of the above, child agrees to devote his [her] entire time and best ability to the management, control and operation of the business and property of parent during the term. 6. In further consideration of child surrendering his [her] present position, parent agrees to take no action that will in any manner reduce the share of the estate of parent to which child shall or would be entitled as an heir at law.
