 One’s ability to carry out everyday tasks and
daily demands while retaining an energy reserve
     to respond to unanticipated demands.

    Muscular Strength…Muscular
Endurance…Cardiorespiratory Endurance
 BODY COMPOSITION
 Ratio of body fat to lean body tissue
             FLEXIBILITY
Moving the body through a full range of motion.
MUSCULAR STRENGTH
 The force a muscle can produce.
   MUSCULAR ENDURANCE
 Perform physical tasks over a long period of
 time without tiring.
     CARDIORESPIRATORY
        ENDURANCE
The ability to efficiently carry oxygen to the
muscles during long periods of physical activity.

           How to measure?
Body Comp.: Skin calipers, Underwater
 weighing, electronic devices.
Flexibility: Various measured stretching
 activities.
Muscular Strength: Heavy lifting or moving a
 static resistance.
Muscular Endurance: Many movements of the
 same muscle or muscle group.
Cardio respiratory Endurance: Measuring your
 pulse recovery rate. Treadmills and Step-up
