D.N.J. LBR 3003-1 FILING PROOF OF CLAIM OR EQUITY SECURITY INTEREST IN
CHAPTER 11 REORGANIZATION CASES
(a) A proof of claim or interest required under Fed. R. Bankr. P. 3003(c)(2) shall be filed within 90
days after the first date set for the meeting of creditors called pursuant to § 341(a) of the Code.
(b) A proof of claim arising from rejection of executory contracts or unexpired leases shall be filed
within the later of:
(1) 30 days after the date of rejection; or
(2) 90 days after the first date set for the meeting of creditors called pursuant to § 341(a).

2006 Comment: This rule is amended to supplement the Court’s General Order Respecting Amendment of D.N.J.
L.Civ. R. 101.1(c)(3) Requiring Payment on Each Pro Hac Vice Admission to the Clerk of the
District Court (entered on December 14, 2005) which requires inter alia, use of the form order for
Admission Pro Hac Vice.
