        significant investment, skip the upgrade to
        Windows XP Pro.
       Gartner’s position – Windows 2000 and Windows
        XP can coexist in an environment without
        significant additional costs.
       Pat’s opinions –
        Windows XP Pro is a compelling upgrade.
              If you are on a Win9x platform, upgrade to
               Windows XP Pro.
              If you have committed to Windows 2000, stay with
               that plan.
              If you are uncommitted, consider Windows XP Pro.
