Jamba Juice to Close Henry Street location in Kona
Employees offered relocation to Jamba Kona Coast Shopping Center location

(September 19, 2007) Jamba Juice Hawaii (JJC Hawaii, LLC) announced plans to close its
location at 75-1022 Henry Street in Kailua-Kona on Tuesday, September 25th at the close of the
business day.

“The Jamba Henry Street store opened on July 28, 2005 approximately ½ mile from Jamba’s other
store at the Kona Coast Shopping Center,” stated Dean McPhail, chief executive officer of JJC
Hawaii, LLC. “Due to the challenging labor market on the Kona coast, it has been difficult to keep
two stores fully staffed. By closing the Henry Street store, we will be able to provide full-staffing at
our other Kona location and continue to provide excellent customer service.”

“Although we are closing the Henry Street store, Jamba Juice is very committed to the Hawaii
market,” continued McPhail. “Jamba Juice believes it is important for our customers, team
members and the community that we focus our resources on continuing to build on our world-class
service and providing a positive work environment. We look forward to welcoming our Henry
Street customers to our Kona Coast location.”

Jamba Juice has demonstrated a profound commitment to our team members since its founding.
All team members at the Jamba Henry Street store will be offered positions at our other store at
Kona Coast Shopping Center. Team members who choose to transfer to Jamba Kona Coast will
continue to give customers the WOW experience they've come to expect from Jamba.

Jamba continually evaluates the profitability of all its stores in Hawaii and they do not have plans to
close any other Jamba Hawaii stores in the near future. In fact, Jamba has opened two new stores
this year -- one at Sears Ala Moana and a second store opened on September 14th at the Waianae
Mall on west Oahu. A third store is also planned to open at the Ala Moana Center Food Court by
the end of 2007.
Jamba Juice entered the Hawaii market in June 1999 and has been in a strong growth mode for
the last 8 years, opening stores on Oahu, Maui, Kauai and the Big Island. When the Jamba Ala
Moana Food Court kiosk opens in November 2007, this will bring the Hawaii store count to 39.
Jamba’s growth has helped create over 800 jobs in Hawaii and tremendous career opportunities.

Jamba Hawaii is a joint venture between Jamba Juice Company of San Francisco, CA and JJC
Hawaii, LLC. Jamba Juice Smoothies are packed with 4-5 servings of fruit and loaded with
vitamins, minerals, fiber and other nutrients. Visit www.jambahawaii.com for a listing of all
