  How do Emperor penguins keep
            warm?
The Emperor penguins
have a thick layer of fat
under their skin and
four layers of feathers
to keep them warm.
The feathers keep out
the cold because they are
windproof and
waterproof.
Why do Emperor penguins
   huddle together?
             The penguins all huddle
             together and change
             places in the huddle.
             They tuck their head
             in their shoulders.
